Ashley’s P.O.V
After Blake finally left me and Max alone I decided to ask her about the whole mate thing; she has seemed a little out of it since I brought up the subject this morning in the car. “Hey Max, are you okay? You seem a little distracted since I brought up the whole mate thing..,” I asked quietly so no one else would hear. “Yeah, I mean Im just worried you know? Like what if somehow he is my mate and he rips me away from Blake.. I couldn’t handle that,” replied Max sadly. Huffing at the idea that she could have MY crush as her mate I frowned. She already has Blake why would she even be thinking about Jake.
Jake’s P.O.V
Walking onto the school grounds I smirked at the groups of girls who were drooling over me and my guys. Toady I turned 18 and every girl in the whole school was hoping I would have them as my mate, and since I am an Alpha it makes the catfights even worse. But hey, I’m not complaining, hot girls fighting over me? Who would complain? Looking around my nose caught the most amazing scent of warm beach sand and pineapple. ‘MATE’ my wolf growled in my head. He was quite possessive and has been waiting to meet our mate for a while. Looking harder through the people I saw her, the blonde beauty that was right now holding hands and hanging all over my beta. Growling lowly I started to walk towards them with the intent to rip them apart. ‘She was mine. not his. Mine. she was my mate and he shouldn’t touch her EVER’ were the only thoughts going through my head the whole time I was walking toward them. Nearing them, the bell rang and they both walked inside with another girl trailing along behind them laughing and smiling at their love and cute jokes. A sharp pain tore though my chest but I didn’t let it phase me. That beautiful baby doll girl was my mate and I should at least get the chance to find out who she is.
