I saw a star fall from the sky,
it's glistening tail, like a tear in my eye.
It's said by many, that a falling star,
is another mans death somewhere a far.
I wonder some time, if there's a star for me
and the day that I die, if anyone will see
the stream behind or the tear in the Lead,
or go on with their journey and start a new seed.
The stars so many, wondrous and free
a gateway to heaven, needed, a key,
to get you to the promised land,
where a person who cares holds out his hand.
The grin on his face and love felt inside
give promises of happiness, with every stride.
So keep your eyes looking far above
and know in your hearts it's you that I love.
Like all the companies set around your star
if one was to fall, a journey so far
to never come back, don't always mean,
that I am gone, I'm simply not seen
