Chapter 4

Act cool.  Don't be weird.

"Holy fuck. Okay. Hi," I ran up to Ashton, who was closer to me, and gave him a hug.

"Hello, how are you?" He asked into the hug. I pulled away to answer, "I'm good. I'm actually nervous," I chuckled and hugged Michael next.

"Oh my god, you smell good," Michael whispered. I giggled and thanked him.

I then entered Luke's arms, "hi sweetheart." A smile crept up my face as he rubbed my back.

"Okay mate, it's my turn," Luke unwrapped his arms around me and I went towards Calum. He had a small smile on his face, "hello there," he did a little wave which only made me smile bigger.

I gave him a tight hug as he was the one who stood out, from the band, to me. The fact he plays the bass and sings is quite mesmerizing to listen and watch. Calum is very under appreciated and he needs more attention on how talented he actually is.

"Would you like a picture taken?" A huge guy, I assumed was there security guard, asked.

I pulled away from Calum as I noticed we were in each other's arms for quite some time, "um," I paused and took a look at the boys around me, "no actually. Thank you though."

"Hmm. That's weird," Michael started, "usually the first thing we do during meet and greets is take pictures," he rubbed chin and looked at the boys.

I tucked a piece of hair being my ear, "yeah. I just want to hang out for a bit. I don't need a picture," I shrugged and started to play with the ends of my hair.

"Well that's pretty cool of you," Ashton put his hand on my back, "we usually prefer to have conversations rather than pictures." The boys nodded in agreement.

"You get to know us, and we get to know you more," Luke smiled.

I'm surprise I'm not crying or throwing up. They looked so good in person, and way taller than I expected.

"What's your name?" Calum asked.

"Oh um," I looked down at my shoes and looked back up, "Nicole. My name's Nicole, but you can call me Nikki."

They all smiled at me, "well hello Nikki. I'm Michael," he winked and everyone laughed.

"Did you have sound check?" Luke asked. I nodded, "yeah! You guys sounded great! I really can't wait for your show tonight."

"Oh thank you, we can't wait for you to watch us," Calum started. He looked up from the floor and looked up at me, "what song are you excited to hear?"

"Definitely Everything I Didn't Say. I often catch myself singing it wherever I go," the boys laughed.

"You should give us an example," Ashton insisted. The rest of the boys nodded in agreement.

"Oh um.. Sure, I guess."

Was I really going to sing in front of four boys who sing for a living? In front of thousands of people?

Wait. Don't tell me, heaven's a place on Earth.

I guess I was. I couldn't let them down. I won't and I can't. I have to try my everything to please them, hopefully to get closer to them. It'll make my job a lot easier.

As I finished singing the final chorus of the song, the boys had their mouths wide open.

"I'm sorry. That was really bad."

"Oh shut up," Michael rolled his eyes, "you are amazing. Holy shit."

"Yeah, you're really good," Luke added, "and this is coming from all four of us." Ashton and Calum nodded.

"Thank you. You guys kinda inspire me. I've always had these crazy dreams of living the life you have," I looked down on the floor, "it's impossible though."

Calum walked near me and tried to look in my eyes, "we never expected any of this to happen," I looked up as he continued, "we all did it for fun and look at where we are now. You'll get there's someday. Especially with that voice of yours."

I quickly gave all four of them hugs again, "miss, your time is almost up," the security guard announced.

Sadness overtook my body, "oh um. I'll see you guys on stage. Thank you guys so much."

All four of them surrounded me with hugs, "we'll see you soon," Calum called out as I walked out the door.

Short chapter, but Ayeeeee, Leah finally met the boys!!

And yes it is Leah. Some of you might be confuse on why she said her name is Nicole/Nikki, but you'll find out soon.
