I'm gonna start a short story based on a few songs from the amazing artist Melanie Fiona. This first chapter is based off of my favorite song from her... It kills me! Please enjoy.
-It kills me-
"Where were you?"
"Out,"
"Out with who?"
"It doesn't matter, I was out with some friends, don't worry about it!" Terrace looked down at the man in front of him on the couch, a hurt look on his face.
"Caleb..." The man with the brunette hair stood, brushing past Terrace as he went to their bed room. Looking down, Terrace noticed the black Iphone sitting down on the couch where Caleb had been sitting.
Picking it up, he pressed the home button and nearly dropped the phone when it went off, with the incoming message.
'Don't forget to come by again, Tuesday night' from Larissa.
There was a pang of hurt that struck Terrace's heart. So he was out with a girl, who was Larissa and what was Caleb doing with her. Turning around Terrace heard the sound of running water coming from their room.
Unlocking his boyfriend phone he opened the messages. Touching 'Larissa's' name he scrolled up the message box. He couldn't help the pain in his chest as he read the old messages. Larissa: "I had fun the other night, how about you come over tonight and lets play another little game~"
Caleb: "Tonight my night with Terrace, love."
Larissa: "Fuck him, he doesn't mean anything to me! I don't care If its your night with him!"
Terrace was pissed. This bitch, had the audacity to talk about him to his boyfriend like she was his girl friend. Who did she think she was? If Caleb didn't defend him...
Caleb: "Dont you dare talk about him that way! I told you when we started this little game of yours, you were not to talk about him that way!"
Terrace felt love swell inside him, but he still couldn't deny the fact that his lover, was cheating on him. All he wanted to do was call this hoe, start shit with her, then hang up. He chose to continue to read before doing that.
Larissa: "I don't care what you said, keep that attitude up and-" The phone was snatched from his hand and an arm circled in around his waist.
Turning around Caleb was standing over him phone in one hand and a glare on his face. "Who told you to go through my phone?" Caleb growled, his arm around tightening.
"Who told you to go behind my back and cheat on me?!" Terrace growled back.
Huffing a breath, Terrace was thrown on the couch; Caleb fitting in between his legs as he set his phone down on the table next the couch and pinned Terraces hands above his head. "Are you jealous?" Caleb asked a secretive smirk on his lips.
Terrace bared his teeth at Caleb, not even bothering to hide the tears in his eyes. "No I'm not fucking jealous! I'm pissed off!" The hurt in Terrace's voice threw a stake through Caleb's heart. "You thought I wasn't going to find out? Why would you do it, why? Knowing how much I care about you! If it was that unbearable for you, then why didn't you just leave me?" The tears had began to stream down Terrace's face, biting his lip he tried to hide the whimpers that were trying to escape him.
"Unbearable...?" Caleb released Terrace's arms and sat up, looking down at Terrace.
Tears spilled down Terrace's cheeks, pooling where his throat and chest met. His arms were up at his face and he was furiously trying to wipe and hide the tears he was shedding. "Why Caleb? I know, -hic- I can be a burden, I know, -hic- I'm not very good at supporting myself. And that I need you, but I feel like -hic- I feel like you don't need me..." Terrace continued to cry. "Caleb I love you so much! So so -hic- much!" Terrace's deep brown watery eyes looked up at Caleb's hazel ones. Finding regret there in those green, and brown eyes. Terrace hiccuped and went to cover his mouth with his wrist. He had stopped crying, but by now he was left with hiccups and wet sobs.
"Terrace, I love you..."
"I have a hard time believing that, how can you say that right how?" Terrace asked his brown eyes narrowing up at his boyfriend.
"No matter what happens and how it turns out, I love you so much..." With his confession, he removed himself from Terrace's lap and strode into their room. Leaving Terrace shocked on the couch. Picking himself up he wiped his face and pulled his phone from his pocket. Looking over he grabbed Caleb's phone, quickly found what he was looking for and put the phone back down where it had been. Saving the number as "That BITCH" he found a different number in his phone. Waiting on the tone, it rang a few times and a voice answered.
"Yes Terrace?"
"You were right..."
"Right about what..." She heard the whimper. "Oh... Hun, I tried to warn you!"
"But Terra... I lve him so much!"
"I know... What're you going to do?"
"I don't know, maybe-"
"I'm leaving!" Caleb said as he walked out the door, licking it behind him.
"He just left.... Terra, her names Larissa, and I think he's going to see her again..."
"Sweety, you need to do something! And soon!"
Tell me what you think!
