Jack woke up to unfamiliar arms, and unfamiliar bed. Memories from the night before came back one by one. He removed Andrew's arms from his body and climbed out of bed, looking at the body still in the bed. Was this cheating on Mark? No, they're not an "Item" yet. They were only dating. Plus, he was mad at Mark. He didn't have time to explain why he went and recovered his razor from the garbage after Mark threw it away.

It was a coping thing really. Having the object that helped him through hard times made Jack feel somewhat stronger. Yes, it was dangerous but it was more calming than anything. He found comfort in seeing the object and knowing that he was strong enough to go through it without completely ending his life.

Jack pulled on his shirt and left the room heading downstairs. He saw his Dad and Jess talking and drinking coffee, giggling. He had never really seen his parents do that before. His Dad looked so happy and comfortable with her. She was beautiful too. Jack took in her features and was proud of his Dad. He slipped past the kitchen grabbing a jacket from the coat rack and headed out the door along with some an extra key and his phone. A walk would surely clear his mind from the clusterfuck of earlier. Walking down the sidewalk was calming in a way. The soft April rain was coming down on his head.

Jack walked all the way to a park down the street a little ways from the house and sat on one of three swings. He pulled a beanie out of his jacket pocket and put it one. It was colder today than yesterday. He swung for awhile. His thoughts swarming in his head before he just decided "Fuck it" a enjoyed swing as high as he could, laughing to himself. He noticed a familiar tuft of read hair walking down the sidewalk towards this park. Oh Lord. He immediately stopped swing so high and faced the ground trying not to make contact with Mark as he plopped in the swing next to him.

"I'm guessing the fact that you're here on a day like this is because you fucked up too."  Mark spoke softly with a sad tone in his voice.

He must've not recognized Jack. Oh my. Jack just nodded his head and looked away from Mark. Although Mark continued to talk. He talked about how he was a total screw up. How he with he didn't scare "the love of his life" away. Jack almost broke out in tears listening to Mark ramble and he couldn't take  it.

Mark saw the man next to him abruptly stand up, wipe his face and start running. He  was really confused if his story really made the man sad, until the beanie fell off revealing the green color and style that was burned into his brain.

"Jack!"

...

No answer, he just kept running. He didn't even stop to pick up his beanie.

Jack arrived back at his Dad's house with tears everywhere. That could've been his chance to jump back into Mark's arms... but he couldn't do it. Why? He didn't even know himself. He burst through the door running into none other than Andrew. Tall, with a worried expression on his face that seemed to calm down after seeing Jack.

Andrew put a hand to his heart and let out a large sigh. "My God, I was scared shitless! I woke up with you nowhere in the house and I was afraid you might've been unstable because you were crying last night and... Ohmygod your crying!" Andrew shut himself up and hugged Jack. He whispered "It's okays" in his ear and lead him into the living room. "Jess and Dean left to go shopping so we can sit here and relax if you want." Jack nodded yes and cuddled into Andrews warm, comforting side.

--

An hour passed by and nobody had arrived home to disturb the two laying together of the three-cushioned couch.

"They really are taking their time, huh?" Andrew talked in a low voice into Jack's ear. Jack just nodded and turned to look at Andrew.

"Thanks for being here." Jack whispered.

Andrew lifted a hand up to remove a blocking Jack's face, his hand then cupped Jack's lower face. Jack as about to protest the action when he saw Andrew's face lean towards him, but instead the front door burst open. A loud stomping lead into the room and revealed an out of breath Mark, spare key in hand and mouth agape.

Mark walked over and pulled Jack away from the man on the couch straight into Mark's own lips. Jack was shocked at first, but slowly eased into it. A few tears escaped his eyes and he could feel Mark wiping them away.

Mark pulled away when he heard laughing, completely forgetting about the man who was about to steal Jack's lips away from him.

"So it was just lovers quarrel huh? Adorable." Andrew said still chuckling.

Mark just shot him a glare before pulling Jack out of the house, and walking back towards his. He didn't really know what he was doing, still feeling the tingle of Jack's lips against his. They tasted faintly of salt and in made Mark sad to think why. He pulled Jack into a tight hug while still walking and whispered in his ear,

"I love you. No matter how many times I mess up in life, I just want to let you know that I will always love you."

He felt Jack smile against his neck and he smiled too.

He didn't really need to know why Jack kept the razor. All he needed to know was that Jack loved him back, and he could tell by the arms latched firmly around him.
