I briskly stride down the aisle of the hall of S.H.I.E.L.D, fear stricken and pushing past anyone in my way, my goal set to make it to Nick Fury's office. Security guards high on my trail yelling- "Ma'am! Ma'am you cannot be here!"
I ignored there remarks and kept running bursting open the doors and standing, breathless in front of Nick. He looked surprised and dumbfounded.
'Well he's probably never had an 18 year old girl burst into his office before, idiot.' I thought to myself, whilst the two guards whom were following me grabbed me by the arms.
"Nick! I- I have news from Asgard!" I exclaim breathlessly, trying to pry my arms from the officers steel grasp.
Nick motions for them to release me and I approach his desk, straightening my tie attached to my blouse.
"Nick... I carry news from Asgard...." I start out, his gaze follows my every move.
"Go on, what has Odin got to say to me... Whats your name, miss?" He folds his arms over his chest and leans back on his chair.
"You don't recognize me? Has it really been that long? I am Carmen Barton, Clint's daughter." I explain. "Anyway, Loki Laufeyson, the one that attacked New York last year, has breached prison and is now somewhere in New York as we speak." I finish, sliding papers that have Lokis' face as a drawing on it. A caption underneath it saying- Man Wanted- Murder.
His eyes widen as he takes in the information and casts his gaze down at the paper. "It cannot be possible, the Barkkeeper would never allow Loki past the Rainbow Bridge in Asgard." He mumbles, astounded.
"What are we going to do?" I ask, my voice strained with worry, not wanting another massacre.
"We must assemble the avengers again."
My jaw dropped, I finally get to see my father again? "When?" I ask, clearly ecstatic.
"Now." He opens a drawer that held a case, he opened the case and inside was a red button, he pressed the button and a siren rang out through the Building, people outside formed two lines on either side of the aisle as the team gloriously walks towards the small room, Bruce Banner at their head.
I turn to face them as they enter the room and immediately seek out my father. He steps aside from the group and smiles. I run to him, arms stretched out and wrap my arms around him. "I missed you dad." I sigh and let go.
"I missed you to, Caramel." He calls me by my nickname I've had since I was a little girl, because of my name and my hair, which was a creamy caramel color.
"Hey look, its a mini you, Red head!" Tony exclaims. I approach my fathers partner and hug her. "I missed you to Widow."
She chuckles and rests her hand on my shoulder. "Watch your tounge, mine-me." She says jokingly.
Nick clears his throat, asking for silence. "Now, I have assembled you here today for a very important purpose, Loki Laufeyson has escaped Asgardian prison."
