Year 2589: The Vampire War

It was a snowy November night I was finishing my daily rounds when I heard a cry, running as fast as I could I wove through the streets of London and soon found myself in an gloomy alleyway. Peering behind a dumpster I saw to shadowy men each with a rifle "we got you cornered now give us the pendent and we will let you go" the first of the men said in a stern tone. "never ill never give it to the likes of you" it was when the woman spoke that I noticed her and her child, the woman was tall dressed in a tattered black cloak, she had black hair and red eyes. "Oh no" I thought to myself "she's a vampire". "Mommy please just give it to the" her child pleaded but the mother stood firm "you better listen to your child" the first man said his voice now more like a growl. "Mommy please" her daughter said now starting to sob, "shut her up" the first man said, the second man raised his gun and hit the girl with the butt of the gun.

"Now that that's out of the way let's have some fun" the first man said with a cackle, then out of nowhere the man doubled over and started to scream his body started to fade. Slowly at first a dark mist began to rise from him it rose above his body and started to reform, the mist then began to take the form of a demon. "ah that's better, and by the way you can come out now" it said with its blood curdling voice, slowly I stood up.

"thank you for coming but I think it's time for you to leave" and with that it struck me as fast as lighting. I was sent about five feet into a wall, bricks and dust covering me as I made impact. But even though it hurt like hell I was ok, "now back to you" the thing said, moving even faster than lightning it struck the woman. And still to this day I don't know why but after the woman was struck her Childs eyes shot open "you shouldn't have done that" the child said as she rose. A red aura surrounded the girl, moving faster than the demon the child took the head of the second man, she then attacked the demon, ripping open his chest and yanking out his heart with her fangs. After viewing the gross sight I blacked out, when I came to the woman was dead and the men were gone, the only thing left was a red pendent and a note with the name Assagi.
