Maplestar's Courage

Part 1

A cat the size of a kitten, which it was, was bounding across the woods. The kit delightedly scrabbled at everything she could, squealing in joy. A hiss broke the silence. "Maplekit" the voice snarled. Maplekit turned around in suprise at the cat. The brown furred tom was bigger than the orange striped kit by five times. She recognized him as Slitherstar.
Her father.
"You're supposed to be in camp!" He growled furiously. "With a new clan near by we don't know of, any of them could have caught you. SnowClan are used to the cold, the elders are starting to say the cold's gotten to their hearts. Plus that pack close near bye can eat you. Get.back.to.camp. Now."
Maplekit squeaked and hurried into the camp. But instead of seeing her mother's face first, rushing to her protectively, the first face she saw wasn't even a cat. "FOX!" She heard a cat scream behind the fox. The fox was beautiful, but menacing at the same time. It had different colored eyes, one a lightish blue color, the other orange as flames. It's white fur glowed in the sunlight, and it had weird gray stripes too.
It... Laughed? She didn't know what she heard, but as she was staring at it a sound came from it's mouth, a barkish laugh. Maplekit was too horrified to move as it spoke. "Sorry to scare you, kitten" she said. "But i think this is the wrong camp." Behind the fox she saw angry foxes and a..big fox thing fighting her clan. "You see, this camp belongs to us now." The fox flexed it's sharp stubby claws. "No, i won't hurt you kitten, or the rest of the kittens huddled in that tiny den, but you better say bye bye to your clan." The fox smirked. "By the way, the names Smoke." Smoke disapeared into the fighting crowd. Maplekit realized what the fox meant to 'say bye bye to your clan' and yelled. She raced to the nursury to discover her mother snarling at a black fox with frost blue eyes. Behind her were her friends and brothers. They were all shivering slightly and whimpering. Her mother CloudFur launched herself at the attacker, and the two animals tackled each other, scratching and biting in front of the kits. Maplekit raced towards the kits huddled in the back of the bramble made den. She recognized Badgerkit, Hisskit, Riverkit, (her brother) and Pebblekit. (Also her brother). Pebblekit let out a whimper that turned to a wail. Maplekit heard a growl behind her, and a shadow fell on all the kits. She turned around and gasped. The thing was huge, it wasn't even a fox. It was a wolf. The only wolf she's ever seen. It snapped, but something stopped it mid air. She opened her eyes and the wolf's jaws were open, almost a centimeter close to her, and the wolf turned around snarling. It was slitherstar ,he was finally here! "Stop!" Slitherstar commanded. "You can have the camp. It's all yours now." Maplekit gaped, shocked. He's giving up the camp?
The wolf barked. "Pack; this battle is over. We have won the camp." He turned back to Slitherstar. "You're clan must leave now or we will tear the living apart."
Slitherstar flicked his tail for the cats to follow him. She recognized her mother, trailing her tail across the grass, and the fox that attacked her right behind Cloudfur bleeding badly. The cats trailed behind Slitherstar and left the part of their territory. None spoke.
This was her chance to start a whole new life, where cats may like her (possibly) in a whole new territory.
