invited Charlie over. We have a lot of things in common. We had the same taste in music, like Maroon5, Paramore, and One Direction. We had the same style in clothes. We both loved to watch sports and we both had older sisters who were perky and 17. “My parents aren’t home yet.” I said opening the door of our new house. It was a normal size house. Not to big and not to small. It had a huge back yard that had a dog house with no dog and a pool. At the front was decorated with red tulips on both sides of the door. I opened the door and we stepped inside. The room was filled with labeled unpacked boxes. “You want help unpacking? I don’t mind.” Charlie offered. “Thanks. Avril should be home soon any way but lets start.” I said accepting her offer.

Time passed by so quickly. We were having fun making fun of the stuff my mom bought. She bought a painting of a cat looking unhappy so we put that in the living room near the fire place. She bought a sculpture of a woman’s head that looked creepy, so we decided to hide it, hoping she wouldn’t miss it. The living room looked decent. There was a black sofa set and a pine table in the middle. We also put some tulips from outside on the table to make it look a bit lively. Our flat screen TV was mounted on the wall. A gift to my dad from himself. He loved watching his games in high definition. It was simple. My family wasn’t one to be flashy, except for my sister. After we were through we had a snack and watched some sports. “COME ON! MY GRANDMA HITS HARDER THAN YOU!” Charlie shouted. We were watching baseball. I couldn’t help but laugh. “Charlie I don’t think that they can here you.” I said taking a bite of my sandwich. “They should be happy about that.” as she said that I heard the door open. I saw my sister, my parents and two other girls come in. “Well look who decided to be helpful.” I heard my mom say when she walked in. As soon as she saw Charlie her face lit up. “Hello there I’m Tara West, Jessie’s mom and you are?” “I’m Charlie Wathen. Jessie and I meet in Science class.”Charlie said with a smile. “Well will you be staying for dinner? Avril’s friends are.” My dad said to her, “Um ok.” “And who was shouting?” my dad ask and turned to me. Usually when we watched sports together I was the one shouting at the players. “That was me sir sorry.” They laugh and I whispered to her “Oh no, they like you. No turning back now.” And we both chuckled
