Once upon a time...

Lived  Ashley and her brother FourChan, They were the prince and princess of the Red kingdom. They both had yellow hair, but while Ash's was golden and long, Four's was short and a warm golden brown.

Ashley was older, so she was first in line for the throne and the kingdom. They were leading  happy lives up until the tragic death of their parents. The late king and queen were only 50 when they passed away, leaving the 25-year-old Ashley and 18-year-old FourChan to lead the kingdom.

After a week or so, it was time for the Queen's coronation. The whole kingdom came together to celebrate the coming of a new queen. Ash had been walking towards the balcony, where she would be named queen, when a maid had approached her. If she remembered correctly, she was one of her brother's close attendants. "What is it?"

"Milady, we cannot find Milord in the castle, would you happen to know where he is?" Huh. She could've sworn she saw that little shit practicing with one of the generals. "Uh, did you check the training grounds? I think I saw him there."

"We already checked there Milady, and we already asked the generals, they said they don't know where he is."

"Hm. Well, it's not like he has to be there, if he doesn't end up showing, I'll just tell him off later."

"You're too kind, Milady." With that, she bowed to me and went on her way.

She arrived at the entrance to the balcony. She could hear the crowds of people gathering outside the castle, waiting with bated breath for the crowning of their new queen.

She took a breath, and stepped out into the light.

Now, it was a fairly large balcony, with a tribute to the old king and queen on a table off to the side. It was also very bright. And loud. Mages ringed the balcony, broadcasting the event for the whole kingdom to see.

The streets were now filled with people, all cheering for the new queen. Several generals were standing to one side while the Arch-priest stood directly in front of Ash, the crown gleaming in his hands. Ash noted the absence of a couple general, namely, general of the south and southwest.

She walked over to the Arch-priest for the ceremony, which mainly consisted of the priest asking pretty general statements, her agreeing, then the crowd cheering. Repeat for around 5 minutes and you've got the ceremony.

But at the end, as the priest was about to put the crown on Ash's head, Four busted in, together with the 2 missing generals and at least a dozen infantry. The generals proclaimed, "Princess Ashley, you are under arrest under charge of murder of the King and Queen!", and held up a bloodied knife.

Chaos broke loose. People were outraged. The mages were immediately signaled to stop the magic before anything else got through.

"The prince has testified and confirmed this for us." They pushed ahead of FourChan, who was hiding like a little bitch behind all the soldiers. while standing behind them, he started to spin his lie.

"I-It was midnight. I-I got up to use the bathroom, and I saw that her bed was empty. When I walked out, I saw someone with long golden hair walking into our parent's bedroom. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but when I heard they were killed the next day, I k-knew it was Ashley."

Ashley started to protest, but was quickly apprehended by a soldier.

Her cell was empty. Save for a toilet (garderobe, unsure if prisons used these, but the prison is somewhere near a moat), it was a simple cobble cube, with a set of bars in front of her.

For a while, the only sounds were the trickle of water and the soft snores of the guard in front of her.

That was, until a sudden loud bang across the room got her attention. The guard was caught off guard as well, judging from the "Wha-!".

When she glanced a look, she saw her brother, along with two hooded figures. As he approached the cell, she got a good look at the fire of mania dancing in his eyes. "Why, hello sister." He walked in and took a seat on a stool that the robed figures placed down for him. What a dick.

"Did you do it?"

"Do what?" He said with fake innocence.

"Murder. Our. Parents." She said the last part with enough force to spit on Four.

"Why, I would never. I simply saw the chance and took it. It's not personal sister, I just believe I would do a far better job at ruling than you."

"So for that, you accused me of killing our parents?"

"Now, now, sister, you make me out to be some sort of monst-"

"You are."

"Yes. Well. This-" He gestured to himself, "monster is going to make sure you don't die. I mean, who else would pay your fees? If it were anyone else, it would be akin to treason!" He waited for an interjection, but went on as she remained quiet, "You see, while you were off with your studies, I was observing. I watched the way our father and mother ruled. And from what I saw, I figured I could do a real bang-up job. Well, sister, I can't say it's been good, but, on the bright side, maids will come in now and again to take care of you. Goodbye." He walked out, with the two figures trailing close behind.

A few days passed, and, as promised, Ash was properly taken care of by maids. Of course, she tried to plan a way out. But, despite everything she tried, her plans would always fail. There was no way to out of this prison.

That was, until the two robed figures visited. They were the same two who had visited with her brother. They pulled down their hoods to reveal a matching set of faces. They both had orange hair, but one of them had green eyes while the other had blue.

"Milady." They both took a bow, until the one with the blue eyes spoke, "We are here to help you. You wish to save this kingdom, yes?"

"Uh, yes?"

"Good, then take this letter, and give it to a man called Simon." The one with green eyes walked forward and handed her a sealed envelope. "He has a curved sword, you won't miss him. He's also probably in the huge tavern. Its stone and huge."

"Wai- What? Are you sending me somewhere?"

"Yes, the Planes of Omegle. Hopefully somewhere near him. You'll need him if you wish for this revolution to be successful. Oh, here, take this and change." Again blue-eyes handed me something. This time it was a set of clothes along with a long cloth and a compass-looking thing on top.

"What are these?"

"Desert clothes. Quick, Change now while we turn around." With no objections, she quickly changed into a heavy dress thing and sandals. She also put on the compass around her wrist. So how about this?" She held up the long cloth.

"Ah, Brent can show you." Blue-eyes then went on to wrap it all around her head, giving her a facemask and helmet kind of thing. "There, all prepared. Ok, now, we'll need you to stay still." Green-eyes started chanting while Brent started to make hand symbols. After a second, Ash's body started to glow. She started to float, and was suddenly thrown out of the prison with the force of a cannonball.

"Goodbye princess, and may the gods be with you."
