Chapter 1~

Vanessa POV:

ohkaay. Lets start with an introduction.I'm Vanessa, vanessa . . . well I'm not sure what my last name is, because I'm an orphan.I'm from LA,California, & I'm 15. .I don't know much about past ,but all I know is my parents left me when I was a infant,& I've been here ever since.Living here isn't that bad.We have everything we need.I even met my best friend here, her names Anna,shes a year older than me,but shes like an older sister.She has long straight blonde hair,with blue eyes,and she's pretty tall for a 16year-old. I however had ombre hair (anna dyed it for me) & i had a mixture of blue/green eyes & i was a little shorter than Anna.

" VANESSSAAAA!" called Anna. "UGH WHAT" i groaned. I hate when she does this,She wakes me up for the stupidest news."LOOK!ONE DIRECTIONS IN TOWN" she screamed,pointing at the tv screen." I DONT CAREEE,NOW IF YOU WOULD PLEASE...LET ME REST ,IN PEACE"I replied. "Kids,we have some guests coming today at 11:30.I want you all to shower,and wear something that is at least "decent" enough to impress them." Liv said. Liv is our,you could say mom of the house. She's 28 & is so aggy.

"haha aren't you suppose to wear something nice?" asked jake,Anna's boyfriend. "I'm not waisting my energy putting on some nice clothes to impress people who aren't going to apopt me...HAHA you're 16. & that tie won't make a difference,trust me." I laughed. "shut up" he teased. I wore some gray sweat pants and a black long sleeve,with my hair naturally down in waves/curls,&Wore my sandals.* 11:25* "THEY'LL BE HERE IN 5 ! everyone greet them NICELY and stand in a straight line across the living room." Liv shouted. "GOD DAMN LIV ,we are RIGHT HERE ,you don't have to scream." Anna replied.

Harry's POV~


"Come one Simon! How are WE going to take care of a kid..For a whole year,if we can't even take care of ourselves ?! " Louis said.

"You guys will be late,head on out" Simon replied.

"Lets get a boy! " Niall exclaimed.

"yeah,one who can skateboard,and play futbol." Louis stated.

"Naahh lets chose a girl"" Liam responded.

"GIRL." I said. I can't believe Simon is actually making us do this? does he really think we're THIS responsible.This man had gone crazy.

"WE'RE HERE." Zayn shouted.

As I was stepping out of the car,I got a text..from my girlfriend Julia. I was going to breakup with her until he had to leave for California.I didn't bother checking the text so I just continued walking.
We stepped inside,and damn was there a lot of kids. I saw all kinds of kids ,thick ,thin,tall short,young,&teens. While the kids were screaming and freaking out because one direction was just about to adopt one of them,i heard a girl scream"OH MY GAWD YOU GUYS ARE ONE DIRECTION I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" and then I saw a girl.Standing there with gray sweatpants and a black long-sleeve,she didn't look like she cared about this adoption,she was just playing with her nails. "oh my,welcome one direction! It's a pleasure to have to have you here! My name's Liv,feel free to take a look around." She said."hello" We all replied . Then I saw a boy,he looked about the age of 15-16,walk up the stairs. But my eyes ran back to that girl.

Vanessa's POV~


*knock*KNOCK*knock* "there here!" Emily and Justin screamed, They werent the youngest but they were both 6. Liv walked to the door and opened it. I didn't bother looking up so i just played with my Nails until Anna screamed." OH MY GAAWD YOU GUYS ARE ONE DIRECTION I LOVE YOU SO MUCH"
I didn't hate them,nor did I love them,but I knew who the boys were,going back to the fact that Anna mentions them 24/7.Then I saw
Jake take off his tie,walk up the stairs and mumble "i did not fuckin dress up for them." i laughed.When I finally looked up I saw harry staring at me.
"what's your name love?" he asked. "Vanessa."
I then saw the boys gather around each other an whispered something.

Liam's POV~
"I like that girl Vanessa,she looks like a gal who would skateboard and play futbol,lets chose her" I whispered .

"yeah me too. I LIke her. " Harry added.

"She looks like a sweet little girl." Zayn reassured.

Niall & Louis nodded in agreement .
"Uhm..how would you like to be adopted my one direction?.." Harry asked,with a smile.

"Me? .." she said confused.

"Yeah" I replied.

"Uh , s u r e. " She answered, not really giving much thought into it.

"Haha ok,it'll take a sec to sign all the papers and stuff and well go see you're new home." Zayn smiled.

While Zayn and I went to sign the papers.Louis and Niall greeted the other orphans. & Harry was helping Vanessa pack up. I saw the girl that screamed one direction earlier say her goodbyes to Vanessa,they both looked really disappointed. Then Vanessa said goodbye to the boy that had the weird tie.

Vanessa's POV~

Why me? .I'm probably gonna get sent back anyway,they can't put up with me for that long. Might as well try.I went upstairs to packed up all my stuff and harry followed. "Why me..?" i asked.

"ugh. I don't really know,you just looked different from everyone else,haha in a good way.More like in a unique way."harry smiled.

"oh."i said.

"you don't seem so excited to be adopted by one direction"he smirked.

"I am i guess,but you guys aren't any special,to me at least.not in a bad way though,i just don't think you guys are that important to be excited about."i replied.

He was silent after that.I felt bad for what i just said,but i forgot about it after Anna ran into me with a giant bear hug.

"im gonna miss you so much!" She said.

"Awee,Im gonna miss you too!" I replied.

"BYE Vanessa" everyone said,while giving me hugs. I then spotted someone in corner,sitting there with a picture frame,it was teddy.The 2nd youngest,he was 4.I did everything with him,haah he was my bestfriend,I loved him to death.I walked over to him."Wheres my goodbye?"I teased. " i don't wanna to talk to you anymore.your leaving all of us,it won't be the same" he said in a sad tone. " aww teddy,I'm not leaving FOREVER,im gonna visit." i laughed. " whats that?"i asked.He handed me the picture..it was us.I remember this.We went to the beach,and I was carrying him on my back.ahaa. i remember dropping him after this. I really didn't want to leave him."i rememeber this..ok,listen.I'll make you a deal.If you can stay here without me,i'll be back by your birthday with a huge surprise. OK?"

"ok.." he said ,still upset.

"..bye teddy."i said.

"bye vanessa" he ran into my arms so hard,i nearly almost fell.i gave him a kiss on the forehead ."take this,& give me yours." i said,while taking the bracelets Liv got for us,on her vacation last year. We said one last good-bye and I walked back to the boys.Suddently i felt a small tear drop down my face.Was i really leaving everything?my family,my home,memories. I guess so.

"ready" niall asked.

"yeah.."i replied.

I stepped out as zayn & Liam were carrying my stuff,I waved good-bye to eveyone,then

I left.
