Robin looks down at Regina who has finally fallen sleep, her head laying delicately on his chest. He watches her sleep, wanting to make sure she didn't have any nightmares. Although he is tried himself, yet he couldn't take his eyes off her. A woman he just met hours ago, he is now falling in love with her. He never believed in love at first sight until he saw her. He hears Regina mumbling something in her sleep, which he found to be quite cute and couldn't help but smile. She rolls over away from him, her hair falling across her face. "Robin." He hears her whisper. She begins tossing and turning, her head moving quickly from left to right. He begins to get worried. "No!" She yells and Robin tries to wake her up. "Stop!" Regina says, in a desperate voice. "Regina!" Robin calls out, shaking her arm. Her eyes open and she quickly sits up. She was breathing heavily, and her heart was pounding in her chest. "Are you ok?" He asks sitting up as well and places a hand on her lower back. Regina looks at him and her bottom lip begins to quiver, her eyes filling with tears. She leans into his embrace, hugging him tightly as she begins quietly sobbing into his shoulder.

"What happened, Regina?" Robin asks gently. Her whole body was shaking in his embrace. She pulls away looking at him as a tear falls down her cheek. Robin brushes her tear away with his thumb, giving her cheek a soft kiss. "I know it may be hard to talk about but it's better if you do." He says, a small smile upon his lips. She nods, then takes a deep breath before replying. "It was about you, my dream I mean." Regina sighs as she takes his hand in hers. "It was just like what happened to Daniel, my first love. Except it was right here in the forest. My mother ripped your heart out and crushed it, just like she did his and I was forced to go back with the king." Tears were now running down her cheeks in a consistently. "I-I've lost love once and I won't again." Regina finishes looking up into Robin's eyes.

"Regina, I know what happened was awful for you but you have to move past it. You can't live your life afraid forever." Robin says as he holds her hands in his lap. "Your mother and Leopold may always be a threat to us but right here, and right now they are not." He continues. She nods slowly, wiping her eyes then laying back down in his arms. "I was lucky enough to find you. Well I guess you kind of found me." She laughs lightly. "You make me feel so safe." Regina says with a small smile. She caresses his cheek softly as she looks up at him. "After I lost my wife, I didn't think I'd be able to find anyone else. Let alone fall in love with them, but there's just something about you Regina. The moment I saw your beautiful face my heart just stopped." Robin says placing a kiss to her forehead. She closes her eyes as he does so then nestles her head into the crook of his neck, sighing lightly.

"At first I thought I was betraying Daniel by opening myself up to you, but then I realized that he'd want me to be happy." Regina says, resting her hand over his which laid on her waist. "Are you happy?" He asks as her runs his fingers through her thick hair. She looks up at him, "I am. You brought light back into my life." Regina moves further up on his chest so her face is just hovering over his. "I'm glad." Robin smiles, then kisses her. At first it was just a gently brush of their lips but they were both so lost in the new found connection between them that it began to become more passionate. Robin's hands ran up and down her back as hers cupped his face. He pulled her on top of him and briefly parted for air then pressed his soft lips to hers again.

"Wait." Regina says pulling away, he frowns. "What is it?" Robin asks, a little confused. "I just need to know." She responds, as her thumb rubs along his cheek bone absentmindedly. "Do you- I mean it's ok if you don't, but-" Regina says and Robin cuts her off. "I love you Regina." He says looking in her eyes, while tucking a fallen lock of hair behind her ear. A smile quickly makes its way across her face, then she kisses him. She can feel him smiling against her lips, and she pulls back to look at him. "Thank you." Regina whispers, touching her nose to his. "For what?" He asks looking up at her. "For taking me away from that awful place, for loving me." She says, staring into his blue eyes. They are a greyish blue, although they are soft and kind and she thinks she could look into them forever.

"Well Milady, I couldn't leave you there. And as for falling in love with you, that was far to easy, no need to thank me." Robin replies smiling at her. "Well you've certainly made it easy to fall for you as well." Regina laughs lightly. "So does that mean..." He says, wanting to be sure. "Yes I love you too." She smiles, and immediately his lips are on hers again. It catches her off guard a bit but she doesn't hesitate to kiss him back. "I knew you'd  fall in love with me." Robin says pulling back with a smug grin on his face. "And why is that?" Regina challenges him, raising an eyebrow. He smiles at her before replying, "Like I said my arrows never miss their target."

His arrow was aimed right at her broken heart.

Idk if the ending was good but I tried... I thought this was pretty cute anyways❤️🙈
