Ashoka Tano was outside looking over the sunset. She was thinking, thinking of Lux Bonteri. When she first met him, she didn't really trust him since he was on the Separatists side. Though she remembers when she slowly got to trust him. She didn't know at the time that they would be the best of friends. She remembered that they became friends when they first met.
She remembered everything they had done together. They fought together in the war. They became very good friends, even best friends. She saw him more than she though she ever would think she would. They then began to grow feelings for each other. Though they hid it well.
Ashoka would hide it well most of the time, though no matter how well would hide it, her master, Anakin Skywalker, would sense something of maybe why she might get a little distracted on accident sometimes. She remembered how painful it felt when she had to let Lux go. Though she had seen him a bit later after that. She remembered when she stopped seeing him all together. She didn't let it her bother her after that, thinking he probably is busy. Which was probably true.
There was one specific time she remembered when she was with Lux. His leader he was working with at the time, (Sorry... I forgot his name... 😅) was coming into a tent that they were in. It was a snowy day and they were luckily in warm enough costs for the cold weather. Lux had thought of something quickly and then... He kissed Ashoka.
Ashoka wasn't sure how to feel about it. It felt... Different. Very different, and... Good strangely. They had formed a plan to escape once Ashoka became a prisoner. They fought and escaped when it was the right time to fight. It lead to Lux's leader wanting to kill both of them afterwards.
Though luckily, they escaped before they could, with R2-D2 there with them helping too. Which R2 actually made some droid friends as well. They had so many adventures together, which Ashoka smiled a small, calm smile as she thought of the good memories they had. Now, she was alone. She left the Jedi Council because she was accused of killing a prisoner, which in reality, she didn't. She was only negotiating with her/him. (Again, I'm sorry if I forgot the name if they even ever said it. 😅)
Her very good old friend she knew since she was 14, named Barris, framed Ashoka. Barris was the killer, though none of the Jedi Council believed Ashoka. The only Jedi who did was Anakin. She felt bad for leaving the Order. Though she had no choice.
"They couldn't trust me. So how can I trust myself?" Ashoka had said to her master before she left.
He told he knew how it felt to want to walk away from the order.
Her response was, "I know." Which surprised Anakin as she started walking away from her life that she grew up with. A life that she would has to forget. Something she hated, but thought it was for the best.
Ashoka sighed quietly to herself. All she wanted was to go back. Have things normal again.
How can I go back? She asked herself in her mind. They didn't trust, or believe me at all. Yes, Anakin did but..." She sighed once more looking as the sun was going down.
She felt pain of regret, and sadness flow through her. She took deep calm breaths so she didn't cry. She almost did right before she left and when Anakin was trying to convince her to stay, but she didn't listen. Anakin was like a father to Ashoka. The Jedi were like her family, and she left her family. Just like that, and she didn't want to look back.
It will hurt much worse if she did. She slowly closed her eyes as she took a deep breath again, and calmly and slowly breathed out. She did this for a bit. Then, all of a sudden, she heard a familiar voice. The voice wasn't way too far away from her. She turned her head to the left side of her, as she was surprised who was it was. It was someone who she didn't expect to see where she was right now.
(Who do you guys think it is? Is it Anakin? Or is it Lux even? Or someone else? Comment below who you think. 😊)
