Kye's POV

I went out on a run with my beta Ryan and we have been running for an hour or two. I need this run since I have been so stressed over the pack, and Eleanor, and her sister I just need a break. I mind linked Ryan telling him to stop at the lake that we use to go to as kids, which was a few feet away. I ran behind a tree as I shifted from my black midnight wolf with silver on the edge of my paws and tail and turned into human form. I put on the pair of clothes that I brought with me. Stepped from behind the tree and jogged towards Ryan who was sitting on the bank of the lake fiddling with his hands, he looked very deep in thought. I walked towards him and sat next to him I looked over to him and knew right away what he was thinking about. His mate. I sighed and patted him on the back.

"Ri I promise you will find her.." He looked over to me.

"How do you know kye? How do you know that she isn't already died?!" He voice getting loud with each word. Well I had a pretty good feeling on who it is it's just when your mates with someone who's a little younger then you and your already 16(which is the age you find your mate) you have to wait till their 16 to feel the bond they have with you. Which me and Eleanor talked about a couple of times about his mate..

"I don't Ri but it's okay it's just takes time she could be younger then you so maybe that's why it's taking so long. Just give it time Ri you'll find her" I half heartily smiled at Ryan. He smiled back. We sat there for a while just in silence enjoying the sounds of lakes waves pounding up against the earth but we heard leafs crunching Ryan and I stood up back to back looking for any sign of trouble.

I know and I didn't feel anybody pass the border. I say back to him we hear the crunching of leafs again Ryan and I look at each other already knowing what the other one is thinking we took careful steps in front of us watching each other's backs until we reached what it looks like was a box. It was a red box with a white bow I looked at Ryan who looked as shock as me.

Should we get it?. Ryan asks through the mind link.

Yea we should. I took a couple of steps towards the mystery box I looked around the meadow but when I saw nobody was there I picked up the box. I opened it to see another box I opened that one and there was a another box I groaned in annoyance I opened that box to see a note.

"What it is it kye?" Ryan asked.

"A..a note" I said while reading the note... My breathing started getting heavier and heavier Ryan put his hand on my shoulder I shoved the note into his hand, I ran my hand threw my hair in anger and pure anger... She didn't tell me.. Why wouldn't she? She lied!! Those three things were all I thought I turned toward Ryan and I knew my eyes were turning a dark black. I looked at the note and ripped it from his grip.

"Dude.. Calm down she might have a reason" Ryan says. But I couldn't she Is my mate and she didn't tell me?!?!

"I know but I'm her mate and she DIDNT TELL ME!" I yelled. I yanked at my hair but I decided that I wanted to talk to her so I shifted into my midnight black wolf and bolted to the pack house. With Ryan behind me. I had the note in between my teeth I ran towards a tree that was right next to the pack house that I keep a pair of clothes. I shifted and put on the clothes I walked out from behind the tree and ran straight to the front door I threw it open to see a smiling Eleanor I had to admire her beautifulness for a second. She had her black raven hair in a messy bun with a couple of strands hanging out by her eyes she had black skinny jeans on with a sweater on. I snapped out of my trans and looked at her with anger she frowned I grabbed her wrist and yanked her behind me and sprinted to my office
