In a city, thunder struck coating the sky with ripples of light. The rain echoed as it came in contact with any surface. It was midnight, meaning that the morning sunrise was close to setting its beauty upon this side of planet Earth.
A boy at the age of eighteen stood in the middle of the town square. His hair was a as dark as night, skin pale but not white. He wore a pair of old maroon jeans, and crinkled black shirt that covered his torso. His feet for some unknown reason were bare. In the teenagers right hand was weapon. A straight and sturdy, well-built, black metal pole that was connected to a curved blade, the blade was one meter in length. It was no other than a scythe.
In a random direction, screams hollered from out of a dark gloomy alley. The teenagers grip tighten on the weapon, he rushed down the alley way heading for the area of the sudden outburst. The wall started to enclose on him, it was a dead end. His blue eyes rested on the display before him. A little girl, back facing towards him, stood in front of two lifeless figures. They had the appearance of a friendly young couple but some evil soul had decide to cut their lives' short. The couple had been stabbed right through their chests, blood dripping off their clothes. The girl, dressed in a white gown that you would only see in the olden days, turn around revealing her true self. There were no eyes in the eye sockets, only black holes. A evil laugh erupted from out of her tiny mouth. She charged forward as her hands turn into long grey claws. The teenager held his ground in till the last second, he jumped in the air above her. She had managed to tear a wound. His jeans had been torn and a rather large scar was left on his leg. He came down ignoring the pain and brought the scythe down her head, slicing the girl in half.
