Chapter 8:
(Deeks point of view)
"After making a lot of test we got a positive match, his name is Jimmy Palmer" the doctor said. At first i had no idea who he was but then Kensi looked at me with a schocked expression. "That's the autopsy guy for NCIS Washington" she tells me. At first i don't know who she's talking about but then it rings a bell. Jimmy had once come to our office to help us on a case. Kensi and I just sit there and don't say a word for what seems hours.
When we finally arrive at the office we tell everyone to come to the bullpen to tell the sad news. Once everyone is here i start by saying "we found out who the guy under the mask was" i pause and don't want to say his name but Sam says "c'mon who is he" "Jimmy Palmer" I reply. Sam and Callen look completly lost. I don't think they know who he is but Eric and Nell look at me and say "oh my god, he's the autopsy guy from NCIS Washington" Kensi and I nod. Hetty appears from nowhere and says "this is way worse than we thought, you guys better get to work"
" Eric and Nell you trace Jimmy in the last two weeks" Sam says. They nod and go up. "Deeks and Kensi you call NCIS and tell them, and try to found our more bout Jimmy" he continues "Callen and I will go back on the crime scene. Im pretty sure we missed out on something there" he ends by saying.
Kensi and I get in the car and call NCIS. I put on phone on speaker. "Leon Vance" we hear and the end of our phone. "Hello Vance this is Deeks and Kensi from NCIS LA we've got some very sad news for you" I say. "What is it" he says. "Last night Jimmy Palmer died in a car accident, but that's not all, he was wearing a mask...of me" I say. Leon laughs "great joke really" he says. "This is not a joke" I say a little pissed. "Mr.Deeks Palmer just came in my office and asked me if I wanted to go for dinner at his house tonight" he says. Kensi and I look at each other not know in what to say.
