I'm all alone in my room
Trapped inside my own sense of doom
I silently wait for death to come
No matter how the outcome
I've stopped carring anymore
There's no sign of a Savior
Pressing the dull blade to my wrist
I just cannot resist
By creating crimson tears
I arise a new kind of fear
Is this all life has to offer me?
"Take it, please!!" I plea
The familiar pain closes in
Feeling the best it's ever been
No one understands
My dad with his commands
My mom with problems of her own
Could care less about my imminent gravestone
Talk with friends? This is hardly worth the time
They would be disgusted, and spread rumors in the meantime
Who then? Who can I trust?
Of course!! The one who holds me dearest!
"How beautiful you are my darling!"
Yes! Oh yes! Someone is finally caring!
He cares for me like I should care for him!
Jesus died on the cross and stole away my sin
One day in Heavan will I finally see his face
--From his hand, I won't be displaced--
An eternal want He has for me
I pick up a pen and write the greatest love story
A story of how when we needed a Savior, one arrived
But our ticket to eternal life, we crucified
Dead and buried he rose again
That one day, by grace, we can see him
Looking down at my scars I'm ashamed
Is this the way I will proclaim?
Cutting deeper, to show off my misery
When really, my life should be happy
I have a family, which is more than most
And a God, whose never-ending love has me wholly engrossed
