Chapter 2

Ch.2

Today the Seniors are going to Senior Picnic. I went to last years Senior Picnic but I was there just to take pictures for the yearbook. It looked like tons of fun and I can't wait for today. There were jumpers, lots of food, and a lake we were allowed to swim in.

Cameron and I are going swimming so I plan to tell him about London there. I just hope he doesn't flip out on me in front of everybody.

"Sam. Sam, babe wake up Senior Picnic is today." Cameron whispers in my ear.

"Mmmmmm." I mumble back.

"If you don't get up I'll pick you up and bring you downstairs and drop you on the kitchen table for breakfast. Your mom's waiting."

I mumble back and turn my body the other way.

"Or... Do I have to tickle you?" Cameron threatens.

I immediately shot up out of bed and ran downstairs to plop my butt in my usual seat.

"I got her down Ms.Tolentino." Cameron said to my mom.

"How many times do I have to tell you. Call me Ashley." My mom replies. "Don't fool around at the Picnic today okay guys." Ariana let out a laugh and Cameron and I turned red.

"What? you think I don't know what you guys do when your alone. I've seen it and I pretend I don't. Your guys constantly have each others tongues in your mouths." My mom calls us out.

I turn to Cameron and see that's he's as red as a tomato. Haha. "Mom. That's enough." I motion towards the tomato sitting next to me.

After we finish eating Cam and I go upstairs so I can shower and change. Of course Cameron doesn't shower with me. He stays in my room while I shower.

Once I'm all done and ready to go we say goodbye to my mom and Ariana and walk out the door and into Cameron's car. By the time we get to school everybody's already walking into the bus. I grabbed my phone and Cam's hand and ran into the bus and took a seat.

At the picnic the first thing I did was run into one of the jumpers and started to jump up and down. Cameron came in a few seconds after me and grabbed me and pinned me too the floor and pecked my lips. Since we weren't the only ones in there it was kinda awkward. One of the boys cleared his throat to get our attention and we jumped up and out of the jumper.

We then ran towards the food and each grabbed a plate. We piled our plates with fried chicken, pasta, chips, and of course, watermelon.

After about 3 minutes we were done eating. Next thing I knew, we were inside the bathroom changing into our bathing suits. We soon ran out, racing one another to the lake. Once we got there I stopped right on the dock to check if the water was warm.

It wasn't.

"Babe, is it warm?" Cameron called from the other side of the dock.

"Ummmm. Yeah." I responded before pushing him into the lake. He fell in with a big splash. As soon as he rose up to the water I began to laugh so hard my side started to hurt.

Cameron rose an eyebrow, "you think this is funny huh?"

Oh no. I know that look. He's gonna do something bad. I turned around as fast as I could and started to run towards the rest of the people. Just as I was about to step off the docks Cameron got me.

"Ahhh!" I screamed. "Put me down Cam." I lightly slapped his back just as he threw me over his shoulder. He began to run back to the end of the dock and then put me down and grabbed my hand. He looked in my eyes, gave me a smirk, and said "love you" right before I was pulled forward and into the cold water.

I shut my eyes tightly as the cold water surrounded my body. As soon as I rose up to the water I saw Cameron standing there laughing. I was mad and happy at the same time so I started to chase him around the water. Once I caught him I hit him and swam away. After a few minutes my stomach started to hurt. I swam up to the shore and immediately puked my guts out.

~Cameron's POV~

I swam up to shore closely behind Sam. I backed away as she began to puke. Teachers and students crowded us some looking disgusted and walked away and others staying just to be there. I rubbed her back and held her hair for her. I told Mr.Jack that I'd call her cousin to take her home and that I'd go with her to just take care of her. He replied with a simple nod before I ran to my bag and sent Ariana a text. She's most likely still at home since she doesn't have any classes on Friday.

To Ariana: Hey Sam threw up so can you take us home? We're at the Hillmark Park by the lake it shouldn't be hard to spot us since there's not much people here ok bye

Minutes later my vibrated signaling that I had a message.

From Ariana: K I'll be there in about 5 mins

I grabbed two pieces of gum out of my bag and gave one to Sam since I think she'd need it after, ya know.

"Can we go home?" Sam whined.

"Ariana's coming to get us. Just sit tight, k babe?" she nodded in reply and sat on a bench quietly. I went to grab our bags as he dried in her towel in the sun. "Here. Put these over your bathing suit." I said while tossing some white jean booty shorts and my black v-neck from earlier. "The shirt will be big but just tuck it in for now."

After sitting in the sun for about 5 minutes we heard a beep and turned our heads only to see Ariana and Marie, her annoying friend that keeps hitting on me even though she knows I'm with Sam. Sam hates her, I know that for sure but her and Ariana are best friends so she doesn't say anything. Ariana knows so she does her best to keep her away from us.

The ride home was short and quiet except for Marie's annoying, yet flattering comments about how toned my abs are. As soon as we arrived in front of the house Sam an I ran out and into the house as fast as we could and into her room.

"I don't feel so good." Sam complained to me as I closed her door and sat next to her on the bed.

"I'll get some Pepto, water, and a heating pack from downstairs. I'll also have Ariana get some chips and movies from Wal-Mart." I say before running downstairs to grab the things for Sam.

~Sam's POV~

Ughhhhh. Why did I swim right after I ate and why didn't Cameron puke?

Before I could answer myself Cameron came running in with the Pepto and a glass of water.

"Hey. How you feeling?" he asked

"Not any better than a minute ago." I replied with a laugh, "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, anything."

"What do you think of London?" I ask Cameron as he gives me a confused look. "London what do you think of it?"

"Ummm, sounds cool. Never been there but the London Eye sounds cool. Why?" he asks

"Well... I was sorta thinking of applying to the University of London..." I answer sounding pretty nervous of finding out what he thinks about it.

"University of London? But, that's so far from here? What about us?" he bombards me with questions.

"I was kinda hoping you'd join me?" I answer trying to sound as hopeful as ever.

"Well I've always wanted to go to London. Let's talk about it with our parents and if they say yes then we'll apply there. Okay?"

I responded with a huge grin and a nod followed by a enormous hug which pushes Cameron off the bed and onto the floor.

Hope you guys had an amazing thanksgiving and are now Black Friday shopping. I'm not cause my parents suck ass so I'm updating for you guys.
