Diary of a Nobody
Prologue:
(Author's note)
Warning! This book may not have a happy ending!
Hey all you non-happy ending lovers! I'm super happy that I finally found some super awesome guys (that's you!) that are realistic people who have enough sense in their head to stop believing in any cliché thing they happen to come across on the net!
Actually I personally never believed in clichéd stuff. Yeah, it made me feel better about my life. Usually because the girls in such novels were so helpless at times it made me laugh. Not all though, there are some clichés I absolutely adore! I just want to say- They're not exactly true. Anyway, I'm shifting the focus. What was I-- Oh yeah. The book!
So, without any further ado, BeWeird13 brings you--
*drum role please!*
Diary of a Nobody!!!!!!!!!
So here's Journal Entry Number 1!
"Dear diary,
Hi! I'm Alex, and I'm a nobody. And no, I don't believe in happy endings. Yup,there used to be a time when I did, but I was a child back then.
Sometimes, life destroys you in the worst way possible. Just when you think your life is somewhat desirable, life throws some obstacle at you. Eventually, you have to believe and accept the fact that life isn't fair. You don't always get what you want. And sometimes, someone you know gets the cake.
It was a few years ago I realised this. The world is a huge place and you aren't worth more than a penny in this world. Nobody cares except those who love and know you. And frankly, those who do are not even 1% of the 9 billion people on this globe.
Unfortunately, life decided to teach me this lesson the hard way.
Both my parents passed away when I was six. They were murdered before my eyes and for what? Being human rights activists. Yes, that was their mistake. They wanted to fight for others. They wanted to world to be a better place. And what reward did they get? To be thrown off the face of the planet in the worst possible way.
They had unveiled the secret to one of the biggest scams in India. And the politician- who was accused guilty, just sent some big, burly men to 'get rid of a pest'.
Anyway,I think I've written enough for today. I'll be writing again soon.
Until then,
Alex."
A single tear rolled down my cheek. I hurriedly wiped it off. I never liked emotional or sentimental situations. They made me gag and feel so helpless. Though,I had to admit, writing in a journal was definitely exhilarating!
I admitted feeling an emotion I didn't know I felt before. I flopped on my king-sized bed, and before I knew it, I was asleep. The end of another day.
