Chapter 16

"Wait you knew?" I growl when Angel claims he already knew after I told them what I learnt at the school.

"Yeah Jack told me." Angel shrugs as I turn a death glare on Jack.

"So you'll tell him but not me?!?" I growl dangerously.

"Yeah but I wanted to tell you but as your bodyguard I couldn't." Jack growls back.

"I had to tell them to tell the school you're my bodyguard so that you could come with me! But if you don't want to then I guess you can stay back here!" I snap.

"I was actually going to come with you but I guess you've made your wants clear!" 

"I'M THE ONE THAT GOT YOU INTO THE DAMNED SCHOOL GROUNDS IN THE FIRST PLACE JACK!" I yell.

I run out of the room and up the stairs to my room, I slam the door shut before I walk into my closet and sit on the floor. I look around at my clothes and sigh then grab a couple of my biggest suitcases and start packing, thanking my mother for putting carpet in my room and closet. I look at the hand made shelves that father made me and I bite my lip as I remember when we all painted my closet together. I look up as my bedroom door opens but then I quickly go back to packing my bags.

"Autumn can we please talk?" Jack asks after standing in the doorway of my closet.

"About?"

"The school you're going to be going to."

"What about it?"

"Well you need the school uniform first of all and secondly I will be joining you if you wouldn't mind...." He looks at me with such a sad puppy dog face that my heart melts and I move then snuggle into his chest.

"Alright Frosty I'm sorry for the fight, I guess I'm just worried about what will happen at the new school."

"It's ok Snowflake." Jack smiles and kisses my nose making me giggle at the pet name.

"You might need to pack some of your stuff up Jack."

"Yeah I know I need to go home but that means being away from you and I just want to shrink you and put you in my pocket and bring you with me." 

"I'm needed here my love and you need to go home and pack so that you can be here all the quicker." I giggle softly then kiss him.

He pulls me closer his fingers pressing against my skin as my shirt had risen up as I wrapped my arms around his neck. When we break the kiss we smile at each other then I break away and go back to packing.

"Be careful going home my love."

"My home is always with you as home is where the heart is." Jack chuckles and then kisses my head and walks out of the room.

I go through my clothes and make sure that the one luggage bag is full of my clothes and accessories, then I take the other bag out to my bedroom and begin to pack up a lot of what's there but I make sure that the most important items in my room. I pack the last family photo we had been able to take together, my small jar of a mix of mother and father's ashes and a gift that Angel had given me so that I could have a taste of home at this new school. By the time Jack gets back Angel and I had both finished packing and had already hunted.

"Autumn when did they say they would be here to pick us up?" Angel asks as he's excited.

"They should be here soon, relax we will be there by tomorrow night I think....I don't exactly know anything about this school." I frown then turn to Jack.

"They will probably tell us on the plane." he shrugs and I nod as I had thought the same thing but then I pause.

"Plane?"

"Well there might be a plane, or they might very well give you the information in the car I don't know."

"Oh alright." I smile then grab my bags and head to the front door. 

I set them by the front porch steps as I go and sit down on one of the chairs that we have out there. Jack and Angel join me and we sit there watching the night as we waited for the car to show up. A blacked out slightly enlarged Chrysler 300 pulls up and a vampire steps out of the back and heads up to the steps.

"Princess Autumn and Prince Angel! We have much to do and so very little time."

"Uhm who are you?" I ask as I stand and watch as the driver of the car gets out and starts to carry our bags to the car. 

"Oh I'm sorry you may call me Mrs. Finn." the bubbly redhead smiles showing off her fangs.

"And you may call me Autumn." I smile back flashing my fangs back.

 Her eyes widen and she staggers back slightly, "You have your fangs already?"

"Yes she does, now can we get a move on?" Jack growls softly as the driver had already loaded our luggage into the trunk of the car. 

Mrs.Finn nodded then started back towards the car her little flats and elf like outfit making her seem like a waif. I take hold of Jack's hand and walk with him to the car with Angel following behind us. We all get in and I notice that it seems bigger in the car and then I smell the residue of magic.

"You had someone put a spell on the car to make it seem bigger didn't you?" I look at Mrs.Finn.

"All the school vehicles have this type of enchantment on them except the jet that's just spectacular in of itself and therefore does not need a spell like this. Oh speaking of which here are your welcome files, read them over and then get into your uniforms. Jack you don't have a uniform so just wear something nice since this is an elite private school."

She hands me a bag with my name on it and does the same with Angel, she just hands Jack a folder that's pretty thick. I open my bag and take out the thick booklet that's in it, I notice that Angel does the same. I start to read as the car starts to drive away, I only look up as the car pulls to a stop at the only private airstrip in the city.
