Chapter 1

This life I live is dull. The same thing everyday gets old fast. It has been this way for as long as I can remember. The same routine: get up and get ready, go to school, stay for after school activities, go home, eat dinner, do chores, and go to bed. Then its the same the next morning. The weekend and summer are the same just without the school things. That time is filled with nothingness. Everyday I am the good little girl my parents want me to be, the straight A student my teachers want, a well mannered girl that does what she is told. I never thought it would be any other way until that fateful day in Nashville. My name is Hailey and my life is about to begin again......

Beep beep beep. Why? Why does this infernal thing have to go off? Cant I just lay here and sleep? The answer is no considering I have to go to school and be a good student and the child my parents want me to be. That's the thing though, Im not a child. I am almost fifteen years old. Far from a child, but they still treat me like one and not the teenager and young woman I am.

I get up and go to my closet. I look through the clothes I've seen and worn hundreds of times. Rolling my eyes to myself, I grab my blue flannel and my blue tank top. Then I go to my dresser and take out my skinny jeans. I change quickly and put on my black converse. I complete my look with some jewelry, makeup ,and brush my hair leaving it down. As I run out the door I grab my backpack and go get on the bus. I put in my headphones, playing an All Time Low song, ready for the day oblivious to the fact my life is about to change.
