Samantha's POV
Today's the day. Kinsie and I were finally leaving this shit town we call home. My Aunt Jessica was driving us to the airport, to help fulfill my dreams of becoming a professional photojournalist. I'm leaving behind my family, my dad, stepdad, mom, two adopted brothers, and one bratty sister to go to California to one of the best photography college in the country. The Center of Photography Arts. Once we arrived at the airport I kissed my teary eyed, aunt who's more like an olde sister goodbye. I took Kinsie's hand in mine, and we walked into the plane starting our adventure together.

Once we got to California Kinsie already had a plan to break me out of my shell. You see, in high school, I was never the type to go out and party, that's was Kinsie's forte. Too bad we can't start tonight, my classes start tomorrow and I'm more nervous than I've ever been before in my entire life. We rented out a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment, a couple of miles away from campus. So I don't have to waste that much gas driving to and from school. We bought the place with furniture so all we had to do was unpack our belongings. By the time we finished it was 11:30. So we just ordered a pizza and went to bed.

The next morning I quietly got ready so I wouldn't wake Kinsie any earlier than need be, I swear she sleeps till noon. I put on my favorite outfit and I'm out the door excited to start my career as a professional photojournalist.

I walk into the huge classroom ten minutes early and sit down next to a guy with light brown skin, brown hair, and to go with everything else brown eyes. He looks over at me and smiles, "Hey, I'm Bryant." He says putting his hand out for me to shake. I take his hand in mine and shake it.
" Hey! I'm Samantha." I say smiling back at him.
"You must be new here." He says confidently. I cringe,
"Is it that obvious?" I say worriedly.
Bryant laughs,
"No, but I think I'd remember you, if you weren't." I blush slightly as the professor walks in and starts the lecture.

After class...
I start to get up but I feel something tug on my arm.
"Wait a second Sammy, did you seriously think I was gonna let you go on your first day without a friend?" He grins, as I hand him my phone. He puts his number in, naming himself "Bry-Bry<3"
"Thanks Bry." I say grinning.
"Anytime Sammy." He says as I head out of the classroom.
