Chapter 1:
Sitting in my dark room next to my only friend who is my cat, Philippe, wondering if life is really worth it. I always wonder... Why do I need to be alive if no one cares for me but my cat? ....If people hate me so much then why is being alive really worth it?... What did I do wrong?....
Tomorrow is my first day in High School in New York, and I'm terrified. My last school in Toronto was okay, but everyone hated me, I only had one friend, Sasha, who I miss so much but she will probably forget me since now everyone is happy I left that rotten school .
I wake up to the surprise of my mom. "Wake up Jessie, its your first day of High School!" my mother said excitingly, maybe she was tired of having me at home doing nothing this whole summer break. I put on a knitted burgundy sweater from my grandmother, some grey leggings, and cozy uggs, since it was fall. I braided my blonde stick straight hair into a braid to the side, and headed to the kitchen.. I pick up my peanut butter and jelly sandwich and apple juice, grab my bag and wait for my mom who takes forever to get ready.
I step out the car, there is people everywhere, the school is huge.
"Goodbye honey, have a great first day, remember keep your head up and be strong!" my mom said.
"Bye mom!" All I wanted to do was just stay at home.
I open the door and walk into my new school. Some people giving me stares, and some people giving my smiles so I smile back. Things are supposedly going okay.
"Oh look, the pretty girl wannabe, its not the first time we have one of these types" one girl said who is pretty sure to be popular. I ignore them and continue on. Reminding myself what my mother said before stepping out of the car.
"Don't listen to them, those girls are popular meaning they think they're the best," a girl my age came up to me.
"Yeah, I've experienced it before, people can be mean, anyway, Im Jessie,"
"Im Celine,"
