     I was in my second to last period class- Writing.

        Ms. Johnson said "You guys can write anything y'all want. Its y'alls journal."

   I wrote about Aida:

  I never believed in "love at first sight", but Aida makes me feel like I did. She seems so different. Yea, I know it sounds cliche but I'm serious. I don't know if it's her beautiful appearance or just the way she carries herself
Can I say I'm in love already? Yeah I know little about her but it's like that doesn't even matter because I feel like I do already... I'm really chatting.
     If I could talk to God face to face.. I want to know if He sent me her after that bitch Najae cheated on me. Did He? Is she going to stay? Is she faithful? If she is or not send me a sign.
She's so pretty...

The bell rung and I stopped writing. I went to my last class of the day- English. Thank God!!

   I walked towards English class. I felt someone staring at me hard as I walked. I turned around to see that Najae was looking at me from her locker that was across the English classroom.

"Is there a problem?" I asked her rudely.

"I just miss you Ash,"

"Miss me with that bullshit. You wasn't sayin' that when you was kissin' up on Shyann! Could tell you was enjoying her lips huh? Deuces bitch." I said before I walked into class.

I walked into the English room and saw that Mr. Garcia, our dean, was in the class. I hope he aint hear what I said to Najae. He nodded at the blackboard with head- he was substituting for Ms. Lee. I went to sit at my assigned seat. I took the class novel- Skin I'm In- out and started reading. The bell stopped ringing.

"Today, you guys and gals will not be reading. I'm giving you free period to do whatever. Don't get excited. This is just a one time chance with me from Ms. Lee. Have fun or sleep." Mr. Garcia said and sat down in the wheely chair.

The students in the class nodded and put their head on the desks. I put my book in my bag and did the same.

  I was awoken by someone shaking me. I peeked through my arm and saw that the room was empty. I rubbed my face and stretched. Ohh, that felt good. I looked to see who woke me up and it was Aida, laughing at my stretching.  I got up and picked her up and kissed her.

"Hey babe," I said.

"Hey,"

"How you know I go to school here?" I asked as I put her down.

"Letoya told me. Come on, let's go home." Aida said.

I got my bag. I took Aida's hand and walked out the class with her. We walked towards my locker which was near the exit door. I let go of her hand and opened my locker.

"Why that girl lookin over here?" she whispered.

I turned around and saw that Najae was looking at us.

"That's my ex."

"Is there a problem bitch?" Aida yelled.

Najae walked towards us. Aida took off  her beige sweater and put it on the floor.

"So this your new bitch?" Najae yelled pointing her two fingers at Aida. I came in between them.

"First of all, you the one that fucking cheated on me so no fucking shit imma break up with your cheating ass! You sound mad dumb yo," I said and laughed while I pushed her head with my hand.

I felt Aida come up from behind me. Bang! Aida punched Najae so hard she hit the lockers and onto the floor. She held her jaw and looked down at her hand. There was blood in her hand. I stared at Aida shocked at her strength then turned my head and laughed at Najae.
