Chapter 51

Joey's P.O.V

I just got off the phone with Shane and he was acting weird. So me and Luke was halfway finished with the house then i asked him a question

Joey: Luke, why would Shane be acting so weird to me?

Luke: Did you do anything bad?

Joey: I accidentally kissed Kalel

Luke stared at me shocked

Joey: I told him all about it and he was okay. I dont know why he's mad.

Luke: Did you tell him the shitty truth or the real truth?

Joey: I told him the real truth.

He gave me the dont-you-lie-to-me face

Joey: The shitty truth

Luke: So i think you should go home

Joey: You sure you'll be ok?

Luke: Ill be fine. Just to home

Joey: Ok. Bye Luke

Luke: Bye

I walked out and drove home. Once i got home, i walked in. Shane walked to the door.

Shane: Hey babe

Joey: Hi Shane

Shane: Please explain why you lied to me

Huh?

Joey: Huh?

Shane: I was running to your car but you drove away. Then you got THIS MESSAGE from KALEL

I read the message. I stared at Shane in shock

Shane: Well? Go on..

Joey: Shane i, i dont know what to say.

Shane: You kissed her back didnt you

Joey: No.......yes. But it was not my fault. Not really at least. You see, do you remember when I walked away? Cat-

Shane: What did that bitch do?

He got into a demanding tone.

Shane P.O.V

Joey: She grabbed my wrist and pulled me away. First she made me drink a shot of beer. Then she put something in my eyes to make them blurry. Then everything i could see was blurry. Then i found you and we went to Kalel and Anthony. And Anthony dressed her as younger Bieber. So i thought it was you because it was blurry. She was drunk. She grabbed me and started kissing me. I kissed her back. Then i heard your voice call back and my vision got clear. Sorry Shane.

I hugged him.

Shane: Its ok. Im going to get that bitch even if i end up in jail.

He teared up.

Joey: Dont do anything to her. If you do something to her, and you end up in jail, ill....never mind. Just dont

Shane: Your in love with her

Joey: No. Im scared of losing you.

Shane: Ok.

I walked away, to our room. I can't lie and say that didnt hurt. I just neede some time to think.

Joeys P.O.V

He just walked away. He's mad at me. I started walking to the living room. When i walked to the couch, i looked at the direction of our room door. I was about to sit down, but something told me to go to the room. I know Shane needs someone. He has always had to deal with his problems by himself and he never had anyone to stand by him. He probably would have done the same. I walked to the room and slowly opened the door, making sure the door didnt creek. He was laying on his side, facing the opposite side of the door.

Shane: I want to be alone, Joey

I walked to the bed

Joey: No, your not going to be alone. Not like this

Shane looked at me. I layed next to him and stared at him.
