Theodosia and Philip

Chapter 1: The Office

Theodosia had on her purple dress and black heels. She was going to accompany her dad , Aaron Burr at work. She walked in with her head slightly down since she was shy.
Philip had on his best black suit and dress shoes. He was going with his father , Alexander Hamilton to work. He walked in with his head held high because he was confident and bold.
Theodosia's dad told her she could walk around the office and meet new people if she'd like. She slowly nodded and walked away. Philip walked freely without his dad's permission , he didn't pay attention to Philip while he was working. Philip was nineteen anyways so his dad wouldn't care.
Theodosia decided to stop at the lounge to get a latte. Her hands were shaking and she was terribly nervous. She hoped no one would try to speak to her. Philip wanted to chill in the lounge so he walked and said "ayo wassup" to Theodosia.
Theodosia froze. Her heart started racing and she thought Philip wasn't talking to her but soon realized they were the only two people in the lounge. Philip stared and said , "you gonna say something or what?".
Theodosia turned around slowly with her curly black hair covering here eyes and responded , "hi" in a soft , sweet voice. Philip asked why was she so quiet and she responded by shrugging. She sat next to Philip. She took a quick glance at him and realized how cute he was.
Philip smiled and tried to start a conversation. He told Theodosia how beautiful she was.
