"True friends are those who came into your life, saw the most negative part of you, but are not ready to leave you, no matter how contagious you are to them"
~Michael Basset Johnson, The infinity sign

I wake up to my leg wrapped in gauze. I don't remember doing that, but nobody else would have. Guess I was too out of it to realize I made sure they would heal quickly. So much for not cutting because of school.

I walk to my dresser and thrown on a pair of sweats and a black tank top. Today is Saturday so I don't have to worry about seeing Leo. And Monday we have off so I even get an extra day of being Leo free.

I pick up my phone and text Andy and Allen to come over.

Allen: 'sorry, I can't. My mom is making me do house work, ugh. Sorry boo!'

Andy: sure, let me just see if I can get a lift; I'm not allowed walking right now. Vitals are low.

Well at least I have one friend coming if she can get a lift... It's better than nothing I guess. She's still trying. I know that she's trying hard to get where she is now, she's been doing so well since she got out of the hospital the last time. I'm really proud of where she's gotten. I also found out that Andy wants us back to using she now.

I turn on my stereo quietly while waiting for Andy to show up. My stereo plays from CD's I have, and right now it's on the fall out boy CD. It can hold 5 at a time so I don't usually remember which CD it's going to play from.

After a few songs I hear a knocking at my front door. I get up and go answer it, a smile on my face. When I open the door, it's not Andy standing there; it's Leo. The smile drops instantly.

"What in the hell are you doing here?"

"Well, you said no to hanging out so I figured if I just showed up there was no way you could decline." A smirk crawls onto his face.

I walk outside and close my front door, making him back up.

"Just because I didn't have pre-made plans, doesn't mean I don't have plans. I have a friend coming over."

"Oh great! We can all hang out together then!" His smile grows wider on his stupid smug face.

"Hmmmm... Let me think about that, NO!"

"Aww, come on. You know that you didn't mind hanging out with me last time. And who knows, Maybe your friend will think that I'm awesome." At the end of his sentence I see a car pull up at then end of the driveway, and Andy walk out of it.

"Hey Cane! Who's that guy?" Andy doesn't know what Leo looks like, shit.

"He's no one, and he was just leaving. Isn't that right?" The second part was said to Leo.

"Actually, no. I was wondering if the two of you wanted to do something today. Just hanging out, so don't be scared," he teases, never taking his eyes off of me.

Andy gives me a confused look over Leo's shoulder and mouths, 'leo?'
I nod my head in response to her, then I mouth back 'sadly.'

She gets a small glint in her eye before responding, "sure Leo! We'd love to hangout today."

He turns to look and Andy and smiles, "great! Now we just need grumpy ms. Cane over here to get ready." He looks back at me with the most smug look I have ever seen. I just want to slap it right off of him!

I turn back into my house and go to my room to get changed. I may not be able to wear skinnies today, but I'm sure as hell not wearing these sweats. Plus I need to put on my sweater and beanie if I'm going out.
