Buzz! Buzz! That dreaded alarm. That sound that seems so harmless but can send the whole day spiralling into destruction. Dark, but true. School mornings are the worst kind of mornings; no sleeping in, no bacon and eggs for breakfast, no relaxing wake up. It's just getting up early and rushing to make the bus on time. Sometimes, I don't even have time to eat breakfast. But today was no normal school day, it was the first day of the term at my new school. As I crawled out of bed, I thought about what this school would be like. Best case scenario, I make a ton of friends and get straight As, worst case scenario, I die. Looking at the clock, still buzzing, I realised that it was time to leave so I threw on my clothes and ran out the door for the bus.
