Again, this was written at the time of a very heart breaking divorce. I felt that the mistakes she was making were just out of my reach for help. I hoped and prayed that she would tread softly because of all the decisions that she was making were going to directly influence my boys to the point that it would harm them for years to come. Then, I basically said that even though everything was so painful I was willing to go back in the blink of an eye.
