Chapter 8

'' You actually like Prince'', Adam asks.

( Prince I mean by the awesome music legend, Purple Rain if you don't know; sorry but I love Prince music; back to story) :)

After I showed Adam around the school we ended up in my car skipping class and listening to music. Sound fun, right?

I shrug,'' Best singer ever I guess'', I said taking the Cd cover away from him.

Adam smirks,'' I think he totally awesome but after Michael Jackson and all''.

I rolled my eyes,'' Michael and Prince are in two different music charts'', I said.

After about of five minutes of arguing over who was best soon we just quit bursting out laughing.

One of my favorite songs came on and I started singing

Out of nowhere Adam join in singing with a kick ass voice that made my heart skip, for real( listen to the song while reading)

As the song end I just started at him, my eyes go wide.

He was just so freaking hot and he can sing and is sweet and a cool dancer.Do I have a crush on Adam?

Before I could answer that thought my phone rung.

They say that true love hurts, well this could almost kill me.

Young love murdered, that is what this must be.

I would give it all to not be sleeping alone.

I read the text message, a smirk on my way to laughing.

Hoe I'm hanging out with hottie Adam he new and all and boy I can't wait to talk to you . Also tell Kiki to call me- Bria-crazy

I slip my phone back into my pocket before glancing over to Adam who was roaming to a hand full of Cd covers.

'' So you enjoy singing'', I ask.

He nods,'' I can play the keyboard, guitar and clarinet and sing I got the best of music''.

I nod, ''awesome for you I have okay voice I guess''.

We mad small talk until we decided to head back to class.

I only miss about two hours which was Chemistry class and gym so I was heading to Soc Studies, what fun.

'' Bria'', shouts out a so familiar voice.

I turn to face who ever shout out my name but when I turn for some reason I slip about to fall forward.

I closed my eyes waiting for the pain from the fall but it never came but I felt arms around me.

I look up to see blue eyes and a breathtaking smile.

I felt my voice go away as he says my name like magic,'' Bria are you okay''.

I blink slowly,'' Um hey Chase'', I said pulling away from him.

He still kept his arm around my back I could smell his aftershave on him sweet but manly. I liked it.

Bria you can't like him, he dating Kris and you really can't fall a guy you fall in love in love with three years ago, I said slapping my self mentally in my head. 

He look at me strange,'' Are you okay you looking weird''.

i laugh,''I'm fine just going to Soc Studies'', I said not looking him in the eyes cause I knew I would become speak less.

'' Whats going on here'', Chris ask appearing in front of us.

It's time to put my plan in action, make Chase jealous.

'' Chase here save me from falling, nothing more''.

Chris frown,'' Did you get hurt or anything'', he ask worriedly.

I laugh,'' You want to become my bodyguard, I'm offering Chris'', I said flipping my brown hair.

He grins,'' Okay I'm your bodyguard so I can see you everyday'', he says.

I step away from Chase so his arm drop as Chris now wraps his arm around my shoulder.

'' Let's head to class MY NEW Bodyguard'', I grin saying.

We started to walk down the hall but I turn half way to wave at Chris.

'' Thanks for saving me, Chase see ya'', I wink at him as his face pull up into a grin. Ha, it worked.

I turn around and made small talk to my new bodyguard who may just like me.

'' What did you do know, again'', Kiki asks

I sighed,'' I made Chris my bodyguard''.

'' Right in front of Chase'', She asks.

We, Kiki and I was at Ice Cream Monkey, awesome Ice Cream shop.Raven was off babysitting her sister who was 6.

'' I was trying to make Chase jealous'', I said.

Kiki shakes her head,'' He dating Kris remember''.

I nod,'' I didn't forget, but she took over my perfect life'', I hiss.

Kiki sighs,'' You can't put more fire on something that burn out already,Bria it happen 3 years ago so get over it''.

I shrug as I pick over my Oreo ice cream.

'' How about this Adam dude and Chris they seem to like you''.

'' But I still have this stupid crush on Chase, my heart beat fast every-time I see him. And I love his puppy blue eyes'', I pouted.

''Bria your stuck on him you still wear that Black necklace''.

I touch the black heart that was around my neck.

'' I love this necklace why should I take it off'', I complained.

She smirks,'' See I prove my point'', She grins sipping her vanilla shake.

'' You really going to make a big deal out of this right'', i said.

She nods,'' In this school year I want you to fall in love with someone and move on please Chase is your past and for once show that slut Kris your move on and she can kiss your ass''.

I laugh,'' Okay sure but I promise I want fall in love with anyone'', I said.

She grin has I shook her hand making the deal.

''I just want my friend to be happy for once and Kick Chase out your heart'', Kiki says also she remove the pink from her hair.

A sad smile spread across my face for a moment.

How can I move on when he already scar my heart forever.
