Sunday, 8:30 PM

Clarke stepped closer to Finn as she looked into the cabinet where the guns were stocked. He was taking a long time to choose their weapons, and hasn't said a word since a while already. "So... Which ones are we taking?" She asked, looking to his face, which was still quite serious.

Then, without waiting any longer, Finn picked up two of them and handed one to Clarke. Once he made sure she had it in hands, he closed the cabinet and glanced at her. "We should go."

Clarke's brows furrowed as she stared at him, not enjoying the way he was dealing with anger, or whatever his struggle was. She missed his smile, the one that would warm up her heart and make her feel at home. But right now, he seemed broken and desperate, as if he had given up on trying. She genuinely wished she could've been able to change that, but she had no idea how to do it. "We... We should, indeed." She agreed, although she was quite concerned.

"Leaving already, are we?" Murphy asked, a faint smirk covering his features. Clarke could never know if he was ever taking anything seriously, or if everything was some sort of joke to him.

"Yeah, we are." She replied, barely looking at him. "What about you? Where will you go?"

He shrugged, wiping his nose. "I'll stay around, see where I could make myself useful."

"Well, you..." Clarke started, her eyes slowly trailing on Finn for a while. She wasn't sure if what she was going to suggest was a good idea, but she had nothing to lose. "You could come with us." She continued, this time looking at Murphy. They didn't know how things would've been going at the lab, and having someone else to help looking for the antidote could have been very useful.

Finn's finger's tightened around his gun's handle, being not entirely sure taking a stranger with them would have been a good idea. They didn't know Murphy, they didn't know if they could trust him. After all, a few minutes ago he was standing in front of him and Clarke, ready to pull the trigger. He shot Clarke a glance, and tried to make her look at him, but her eyes seemed to be glued onto the other boy's face.

Murphy scoffed, glancing down. "Yeah, that's real nice of you for suggesting, but I don't see what there would be in for me by coming with you."

"Well, at least you wouldn't be alone..." Clarke replied, tilting her head softly.

"I don't need anyone." The boy shortly said as he ruffled his messy dark brown hair. He waited a while before talking again, the time to let sink in his last words.

"Are you sure? Bec-"

"Hey, I already told you." Murphy started with a louder tone, interrupting Clarke. He didn't want to hear what she had to say, as he knew nothing on this planet could have convinced him to believe that he needed other humans to live. He had always ran his life the same way, and he wasn't going to change anything today. "Now unless you want me to reconsider the fact that I let the two of you go without asking anything in return, I'd suggest that you get your pretty ass out of here right now, blondie." He said, pointing to the front door.

"Hey! Don't talk to her like that!" Finn immediately ordered as soon as he heard the last words coming out of Murphy's mouth. For some reasons ever since he found Clarke in the middle of the road and brought her home, he felt like he needed to protect her.

"Or what? What will you do?" Murphy asked with an amused tone before facing Finn. A smirk slowly began to draw on his face, just as if he was enjoying the entire situation.

"We're done here," Finn's features hardened as he stared at Murphy, struggling to ignore the urge of replying something that would've gotten him in trouble. After a while, he placed one of his hands on Clarke's shoulder and pulled her with him as he began heading back toward the front door. "Come on, let's move."
