It's easier to not care
about anyone,
about anything.
It's easier to not care
it spares your feelings,
your tears,
your energy.
Its easier to not care
Because when you do,
It only hurts you.
Caring hurts you the most
because it allows your feelings to be hurt,
Stomped on and tossed to the side.
Its easier to not care,
But if you do,
Its the hardest task to complete.
If it helps, I ask you to remember,
It's okay to put you first sometimes.
