Ready to eat?

 They followed Liam for hours. They had seen many village soon the way that they were going. The keekkers attacked all of then in their way and more tragic struck.Rain had the feeling to just go down the village and turn one of them into birds,but, Liam would not allow it.It was turning dark very soon and Liam looked like he wasn't even tired and Rain and Jene were melting like Popsicles. The weather was hot.Some would say it would be at least 100 degrees and others would say it would be 94 degrees. The degrees didn't matter, both Rain and Jene were dying of thirst.

 '' How far till the nearest river?",Rain asked with a dry as dirt voice.

  '' I have no idea, ask.....Liam.....may......be?"Jene spoke barely able to talk. Rain flew over to Liam as fast as she could with all her energy. It took Rain at least 5 minutes to catch up to Liam. When she did there was no reason to talk, the keekkers had stopped for a drink of water near a huge lake! Liam, Rain, and Jene, rushed down to get some water too! As they landed they went as far away from the keekkers as they could. They didn't want the keekkers to spot them. 

 ''I thought we were going to die birds!", Jene exclaimed. Jene and Liam started laughing and couldn't stop. Rain tool another zip of water. They watched the keekkers drink their water.

  '' Rain look closely. Keekkers get thirsty, that's a hint o defeting them maybe."Liam chirped.( They are still birds). 

 "Oh.nice." Rain remarked.

''Look closer.Think. Where did the bodies of the people go?" Liam replied.

 '' That's obvious. The keekkers ate them." Jene replied. Liam shook his head.

 '' There is no blood on the keekkers' mouth, and when we were flying I heard not even 1 scream. ", Liam implied. Rain's mind once again was filled with questions. She looked at Jene to check if he had anything to say. He said nothing. In fact, his mink looked full of  questions too. 

 "We're going to have to find out then", Rain answered'' Maybe Liam can turn as into flies so that we can look closer''.

 ''Actually-",

"Wait! Flies make an annoying sound! That means if you can make the flies 100% silent it would be just fine!" Rain interrupted. Liam smiled and laughed.

 "Exactly!" Liam answered" We'll do it in the morning. I need resting time." It was already dark and Liam fell asleep as fast as light. Finaly me and Rain can have some alone time Jene thought to himself. Liam had turned them into small humans before he had fell asleep. Rain was sitting next to a tiny fore they had made. Jene walked towards her and sat next to her. Rain blushed. Jene was leaning closer towards her.

  '' I think it time..to..go to sleep",Rain said. She felt awkward and dries to avod the kiss. Jene looked at her broken hearted. Rain looked back at him and kissed him on the cheek.

 '' That's it?" Jene complained. 

 " Yeah, that's. If you don't like it find someone e-" before Rain could say anything else Jene gave her a big hug.

  ''I only love you... and if that's all you can give me it's okay with me" he stated. Rain felt happy and looked at Jene. She put her arms around him. Jene kissed her on the forehead and whispered: good night Rain. She finaly got sick of not kissing him and went to sleep. Jene sighed in disappointment. The funny thing was that Rain had fallen asleep in his arms, hugging him, standing up. Jene just stood there. Finally he put her laying down by a tree. Then he sat down next to her and looked at her for at least 5 minutes.

 ''Wake up Jene it's morning and we have to find out what happened to the bodies"  a voice called to him. It was Rain's voice. I was still dark and the keekkers were still sleeping. Liam was awake too.

 ''Okay'' he mumbled. Then Liam turned both of them into flies that didn't make a nose. They didn't scream this time. But Rain got really grossed out!

"Lets go'' Liam anounced.
