Leonard's POV
We were on top of the cruise ship, gazing at the sunset.
"That's magnificent." Sheldon said.
"Yes." Bernadette replied.
Amy snapped a picture of the sunset.
I looked over at Penny. She had her eyes locked on the ocean.
If I wasn't dating Priya, I would go for it. But since she isn't here, I could talk to her. "Are you having a good time?" I asked
"Yeah, this is pretty cool." She grinned.
The boat tilted to the right, slightly. It slowly tilted more and more.
"What's going on?" Howard asked.
It kept going.
I was now holding onto the rail. Screams were heard in the distance. Then sirens went off.
"Everybody, to that raft." I pointed to a yellow, emergency boat hanging off the side.
"This is not happening." Penny said to herself, quietly.
I went to the edge, and jumped over the rail, onto the emergency boat. I tugged Penny over, then Bernadette, followed by Amy. Raj hopped over, then Sheldon. Followed by Howard.
Raj unhooked us. We feel 4 stories, and crashed on the waves. We were soaked.
"Leonard, I told you, we were going to drown on this trip." Sheldon taunted.
I rolled my eyes.
Looking over, I saw a freezing, frightened Penny. I wanted to give her my jacket, but it was soaked.
The boat sank, almost like the Titanic.
"I can't believe that, THAT just happened." I said.
Everyone stared at me. "We are going to die." Penny said.
Sheldon and Amy were stuck together like glue. They had their arms wrapped around each other. Sheldon seemed as if he was fine with it.
Howard and Bernadette were doing the same.
I laid down, on my side. I watched the ocean swallow the rest of the ship.
Penny laid down, resting her body against me.
The sky grew dark.
My stomach hurt, I haven't ate since 11:00 am.
I stayed still.
I closed my eyes and waited for dawn.
