I was sitting, in my aunts "beauty chair", feeling the warm wax getting layered on my skin, and seeing the white strip, being carefully placed on top, followed by my aunts soft long fingers pressing the strip gently down. I knew what was coming next, I embraced myself for the pain. In a matter of second my face was burning, "god I hated waxing." Waxing bought back so many horrible memories, and a painful past.

"New school, and new people", one of the many things I hated. Today was the first day of grade seven, I am nervous and kind of excited. I remember the day I was told that I would have to switch school. I was pissed, I didn't want to leave my friends, or my old school. I had pretty good memories in my old school, but life likes to mess with me. Here I am, waiting for my school bus. "OH MY GOD! This school is big, compared to my old one, and considering its new, and today is the grand opening of Moffat Creek Public School, it's beautiful" I still couldn't believe, I was one of the first students to enter this school, and graduate next year. I really hope this school treats us well. I started looking around and judging people, obviously, the first thing a girl would do. I saw a bunch of girls, wearing dresses, short shorts, and some really nice outfits, compared to my boring blue jeans, floral blue top, and my long , black straightened hair. I could tell that those were the fashionistas. My eyes stop wandering, when I saw the most beautiful blue eyes. I looked and saw this guy, talking and laughing with his friends, his hair was kind of like Justin Bieber's hair. He was the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen, and he seemed pretty chill, and sweet. I looked at who he was talking to, and saw two beautiful girls, one with red hair and one with blonde hair, plus two boys, one was brown like me, and maybe even Indian like me, the other one seemed funny since he was making them laugh.
I had English first period, as homeroom. As I entered the class, I was greeted with a very warm smile, by my teacher, whose name was Mr. Leslie. I already liked this teacher, he was wearing a full on "teacher" outfit; dress pants, shirt, vest and tie. I sat down and saw the guy walk in, god this day couldn't get any better. First day went by pretty smoothly, and I found out the name of the gorgeous blue-eyed guy, his name was David Smith. I forgot though, in my life days don't go smoothly, it was just the fourth day of school when this happened... It was lunch time and I was talking to my new friends; Emily, Shahmir, and Kishawn, when the guy beside me, god I can never forget his annoying face, said "you have so much hair on you, you're a werewolf." I froze, I had hair since I was a kid, but no one ever said it like that. Right then I felt, hot tears stinging my eyes and I knew this year was going to be horrible, and I was right. Luckily he got in trouble, because Mr.Leslie saw the tears and asked me what happened, when my friends explained everything, he talked to him.
"You guys can work on your journals quietly." I took my journal out and did as I was told. As I was working, David was talking to the girl beside, but mouthing his words, and the girl was trying to read his lips. I read them well, and I told her what he was trying to say, but he thought I was saying something about him, and he started looking at me. He was saying something again, and I read his lips again, he was asking the girl beside me if I was talking about him. I mouthed back the words "I'm not talking about you, don't worry." I think he read my lips too because he smiled and that made my heart melt right out of my chest. I looked at him for a good four minutes, "Oh shit! He caught be staring!!" I quickly looked away, my face was bright red, that's it, I just embarrassed myself in front of my crush.
