Metal Vs Storm

A New Partner

    "I can't believe it!"  Edward fumed, "The nerve of that bas-"
    "Come now brother,"  Al tried to calm Ed, "I'm sure the colonel had a good reason to have us work with a partner."
    "I'm not gonna work with some old geezer who - like everybody else - have a problem with the way I work!"  Ed huffed
    "You wasn't listening to the colonel again brother."  Al sighed "He said that this new person has only been in the military for only seven years and has been with Mr. Hughes this whole time, oh and he said that he's an alchemist like you."
    "Been with Hughes?" Ed questioned, "Then how have we never heard of this guy before huh!"
    "They say he is the only person who can stand toe-to-toe with the furhur!" Al continued, "And that very few know his real name and the full extent of his alchemy!"
    "There is no way I will ever believe that." Ed frowned, "We should of heard of him before."
    "Well instead of standing around, brother, we should go meet him." Edward nodded his head.
    They continued to walk through the hallways of the military building and soon reached the doors to the office that belonged to the colonel and the rest of his men.
    'Here goes nothing, lets hope the stick up his butt colonel keeps his mouth shut' Ed mentally thought. He suddenly banged the door open and was greeted by Havoc and Risa, Mustang's second-in-command.
    "Hey fullmetal." Ed waved at Havoc's greeting, "I'd like to chat with you but the Colonel said to send you in as soon as you reach." at this Ed groaned but continued walking to the colonel's office.
    "Hey Colonel-" Mustang interrupted.
    "Fullmetal, you're late." Mustang smirked, "But no matter, I hope you're ready to meet your new partner in a bit."
    "What do you mean in a bit,"  Ed questioned "I thought he was here already."
    "Hughes had a slight problem this morning and will bring him in a bit." Mustang continued, " Besides, you need to know who your working with."
    "I know already,"  Mustang raised his eyebrows, "It's some old alchemist geezer that's gonna get fired in a few days."  Ed held a smirk of his own, ignoring the small yell of brother from behind him.
    "Actually his name is the Ice Storm Alchemist and as for old, it's quite the opp-" Mustang was interrupted by the opening of the door.
    "Mustang, did you miss me!"  Hughes shouted, "Did you see the new pictures of my lovely wife Garcia and baby girl, isn't she wonderful!" Hughes continued distracting Mustang.
   ' Time to see who this guy is' Ed and Al looked at the door. Sure enough, someone was standing there. Surprisingly, the guy was atleast a head taller than Ed and dressed in a coat like Ed's but it was plan white with its hood covering his face. His appearance in clothes alone surprised Ed, besides the ankle-length coat that was open, he wore a black jersey and slack white pants with white knee high boots. At his waist, instead of the normal case that most people used, was a one-shoulder bag that was slung over his shoulder such that the strap crossed his chest.
    "So, you must be the guy I'm working with right?" Ed got straight to the point. "Cool choice of clothes."
    "Yea and the clothes was Maes' idea, I blame him."  came the surprising smooth reply. He seems ok, but something's not right Ed thought.
   " It's been a while, Storm." Mustang called, finally getting Maes off him, Storm scoffed. "Well, Fullmetal alchemist meet the Ice Storm alchemist. Storm will be transferred to my division from now and as such, while not necessary, both alchemist will be to working together."
    "I look forward to it." Both fullmetal and storm answered simultaneously.
