A sheep, a raven, and a wolf walk one day.
"Oh raven dearest, how is thee?" says the sheep to the jet bird.
"Sheep, my friend, I am fine. how is your wool production?"
"Oh; silly avian and woolbringer. You speak as though adults, why not have some fun? Let's play a prank!"
"That is not wise, o wolf," replies the old raven and the sheep agrees soon thereafter.
"Wise? Why must we be wise? We must have fun while youth passes." inquires the wolf.
The grey sheep and the ebony raven exchange a glance before rasping out laughter. The wolf scoffs.
"Oh, youth. it plagues us," the sheep gulps air.
"I remember my youth," replied the raven.
"Oh, you are both old coots," snaps the snarky, arrogant wolf, "I will see you oldies later."
And so the wolf set off, and in his path wreaked fun havoc. He first tripped the bear who roared at him and the wolf ran away yelling, "Oh! Oh! Oh!" Worried, the bear follows him. He continues to follow the yelps, and then the scents he left.
Then he splashed the pool of silverfish and scared them all. He cackled and ran away. The bear notices the angry fish and offers to give them a ride, and so he filled an old jar he found with water and let them swim in, and then they continued on.
The wolf's final prank was a big one; he dashed over to the human's home and howled through the chimney. however, he fell in! Under the chimney was a boiling pot of water. He managed to escape the house, since the humans were not home, but was caught in a large net!
The bear, the silverfish, and the old raven and sheep make their way to the source of howls and screeches.
"Oh, oh! I shall certainly die here in this net; woe is me!" the wolf cried.
So, the silverfish leapt out of their glass container and nibble on the netting. The bear follows suit and begins to slash at the mesh. The raven and the sheep watch with raspy laughs.
"You dumb old raven, why aren't you calling out to alert the humans? I could die!"
"Because you insulted us and went on to do your own thing, even when we expressed that it was a bad idea." the sheep replies.
"Fine! you were right, and I was wrong. Can you help me now?" the wolf cries.
By this time the wolf falls onto his bum after the net is all torn and tattered.
"It seems that, even in your stupidity, you have found help."
