Dear Journal;

It's been too long... I never thought I would grab a pen and write on you once again. I'm not going to lie, it's been a relief finding you. Now I can tell someone, or rather something, about my daily life. Especially when my life took a wrong turn and ever since it's been downhill. At least I get the satisfaction to write it down. Let's get down to it Journal, let's get you to know every detail of my life once again.

My life has had many ups and downs. Some were worse than others but that's not really important. My question is... why would life be so cruel? What is life? The meaning of living or just being? I remember listening to one of my teachers go on a philosophical rant about how life isn't just life. It's about finding who you really are and the truth is... you never find out. Life has a way of molding you because of the experiences you've seen or touch or hear. It's actually quite amazing how you can have an epic experience just by trying out a new kind of food. Whether you like it or not, molds your personality. At least, that's what my teacher said.

The only thing that got me thinking while he rant on and on was how he questioned life. How he tried to explain what is life and how he couldn't find the correct definition and not because he's an incopotent person; but because he geniunley couldn't answer what is life. Some people may answer the question with the definition that a dictionary has but... is that really life?

I'm on a journey to find the definition of life; to seek happiness in a world where violence predominates. Is there an actual chance to be happy in this world? If so... what can I do to achieve my happiness? Can my happiness change my perspective on life? Or will it stay the same? People say everyone has a purpose in this world, they even bring up God for this. If everyone has a purpose in this world... Why is there so much hurt in this world? And what happens to the people who never find out their purpose? Will they just die unhappily because they never fulfilled their live's achievement? Is it even related with life?

For Day One I think we accomplished how to question and analyze my life a little bit more so I think I'm quite done writing for the day.
