Oh Angel, Dear Angel, Look at you
And all of the terrible things you've been through
Cast down from Heaven, you fell through the sky
Hitting Earth hard, but not stopping to cry
Oh Angel, Dear Angel, don't think that it's you
Your wings may look black but I know the truth
You were the best, and the object of envy
All they wanted was to be your enemy
Oh Angel, Dear Angel, please do not fret
I come as your friend so please never forget
Though now you carry your burden alone
Two sharing the load is much better than one
So Angel, Dear Angel, let me help you
I know that it's hard because I've been there too
Let's just clean up your wings to be once again white
So that Angel, Dear Angel, once again you'll take flight

Oh, My Angel
PoetryThis is a poem about a fallen angel. I wrote it at 4am When I had absolutely no sleep that night And was hopped up on so many different cold/cough/fever medicines it's a wonder I was able to even my computer! If you're impressed with my crazy drug...
