Today was a fairytale. I found out my mom and dad got back together. My crush liked me back and, I got straight A's. OH! And, I forgot to mention. I became the princess of East Hollywood. I know, I know. You're probably like... East Hollywood? What are you talking about? But, you see? I live in a small town called Mallowmoore. And, in Mallowmoore we have little parts of it that have some of the same names as real places like West Canada and South Australia. So, I became princess of East Hollywood. Which is the capital!
But I guess... Today wasn't at all a fairytale. Sometimes one thing ruins the WHOLE picture.
"Hey Addison" Jake said.
"Hey Jake! What's crackin?" I asked.
"Nothin really, but I just wanted to ask you something..." Jake said in a nervous voice.
"Okay" I said while smiling.
"Um... Well, your friend told me something about this girl. Who likes me and well..." Jake said.
"Mhmm... Wait, are you talking about me?" I ask
He looks and smiles
"Oh! That's cool" I said
"So... What do ya say?" Jake said
"I don't get what your quite trying to say... But, your asking me on a date. Am I right?" I ask
"Well, yeah" Jake replies.
"Sure! Tomorrow at 7?" I ask
"Okay! See ya then!" Jake said and smiled
Oh my god. I turn around and bump my head on the mango tree. Damn, that hurt. Well, at least I have a date with JAKE!!! I am so excited! Oh my god! What am I gonna wear!? And, that was when it hit me. I have to go to Melby! He's my gay friend in the barber. He knows everything about fashion. Almost even more than me! And, since I'm a princess, I think I can afford to buy a new wardrobe!
I go into my new Cadillac and I see on my side mirror there is a pink sparkle. What the hell could that be? I look closer and it's a small pink earring stuck in between the metal and the mirror. I pick it up with a tissue, and oh wow. It's so pretty. Is this...? A pink diamond!? I don't even know why I'm so satisfied, but everytime I look closer... I don't know. I must be in my imagination or a dream but I see... MYSELF! Is this normal? Well, whatever. I feel so phsyco so, I'm gonna go to see Melby now. As I'm driving. I see a--
"Man! MOVE WOMAN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!??" A man shouts to me
And at that moment, I see a light flash accross my face and BOOM.
A few hours later...
"Is this working?"
"Is she awake?"
"Oh, I hope she's alright"
"May god be with you"
"Please tell me she's fine"
I keep hearing these weird flurry voices and all I see is blur.
More hours later...
I am finally feeling normal. I wake up and...
"HURRAY!" says everybody
I see everyone in my family infront of me and I'm in a castle? The walls are pink! My bed is Kind size! My mom comes running to me and, asks me if I'm alright. I'm wondering why everybody is asking me. I feel perfectly fine. Then, from the crowd I see a familiar face. I can't seem to remember but my mom greets him by saying "Hey Jake!". Wait... Jake? Jake. Jake? Jake. I know this name...
"Are you alright darling?" Jake said and smiled
"What? Who are you!? WHAT IS GOING ON!?" I say in huge confusion.
"I'm Jake. Remember!? Your date for tomorrow!" Jake said.
"What? Wait. Who are you again?" I asked
"Oh, forget it. If you didn't want to go out with me, you could have told me!" Jake said and ran off
1 month later...
I walk around my room, and then go out on my secret terrace. I see something again. It is like one of the most familiar things ever! It's this really pretty pink diamond earring. I look into it and I see the Jake guy and I talking by the tree. What is this? Some kind of practical joke? Why is everything so weird from the past month? First, I got into a car crash. Then, Jake comes along and gets mad at me for some reason. And, from then I've been doing nothing but staying home and watching movies on my bed. You know, living like a princess isn't that great after all. I don't do much and I am always bored. Like, is this what it's supposed to be? I don't understand.
