So thirsty... A short cloaked pokemon clad in white and green slowly drifted through the trees near Kaloe Town; a small village really. The nearby lake had the town right on the shoreline, where she had to go to drink. Unfortunately everytime she attempted by going near the town, an up and coming trainer always had the bright idea too try and catch her with their weak Pokemon.

This was an area clad in peace yet she always seemed to find campers looking to bite off more than they could chew. Today would be different though, she decided to go around the campsites and travel right along the edge of town. A risky shortcut that would trap herself between the campsites and village but time was of the essence. She was panting from the insane heat today and needed as much water she could get.

She walked along, thinking of what she may run into. Last time was a funny looking child with a runny nose and fat cheeks she easily handle, a Weedle may be a bug pokemon but a Weedle is a Weedle to her. She crushed it and the poor child's dreams with it.

The time before that was a closer call though. There was a brother and sister who were a bit too close with each other; each had her cornered with matching Pumblooms. She severely underestimated they're teamwork due to how cheesy they acted, the only reason she still had her freedom was the brothers laughable throwing arm.

Gardivoir approached a small incline at the edge of the forest, she saw the town ahead about 700 meters away, with the campsites nice and far to her right.

It was a pretty town, old in the sense of a more traditional houses and cobblestone streets, torn by use but not very damaged by the weather. She often eavesdropped on campers, listening to stories of cities with endless white streets where humans roamed. They were fascinating creatures, but she always remained cautious. With every nine good humans, there always seemed to be a bad one with wicked intent towards others.

Being so wary of humans made her forget her own feet though, as a single step forward arched her down face first down the incline, "Voir!" She plunged down rapidly, rolling like a ball until she finally landed on her butt with a light grunt. She looked up at the town to see nobody was around, relieved she put weight on her right foot. Only to feel sharp pain shoot up her leg.

It took everything in her power not to yell. She slowly rubbed it, making sure her ankle wasn't broken. She must have pulled it wrong on the hill going down, the calve muscle near her Achelles heel was pulled really hard. Any weight on it felt like a knife stabbing it.

She glanced around panicked. She was out in the open with wide space around her, a sitting psyduck in a nest of potential trainers.

A long winded sigh escaped as she hopped up on her one good foot, keeping all the weight away from the pulled muscle. None of this mattered if she couldn't get to shore, she could rest there until her muscle began to feel better. Steadily she limped on towards the town, making small sounds of pain at each step.

Soon enough she was at the road outside of town, with a clear view of the campsites further up onto the hill. A few tents were up with Pokemon, large and small playing outside of them. Their trainers would be close by for sure. She continued next to the buildings, keeping an eye on the campsite as she moved. There was a bellsprout fighting on the outdoor dining table fighting off a meowth trying to steal berries from it. Gardivoir giggled as the bellsprout comedically head-butted the cat between him and the wood table.

A bump on her shoulder knocked her down onto her back as a large gruff human male looked down at her with his arms at his side's, he was large, with navy blue hair and a mean looking face. A bandana wrapped around his head, adding to his wide intimidating frame. "Well well, looky here." Gardivoir flinched as he took out a strange device and pointed it at her.
