Ainslynn's POV

There was this boy, he had a twin, red hair, green eyes, and a hand me down robe. He may be a Weasley but he is so attractive. Well not as attractive as Draco. He was running around with two of his brother to different second-hand shops. Man, it must suck not being able to have very much new stuff, especially for going to school. I know the Weasley family is Pure-Blood, but they are major Blood-Traitors. Ugh, why does their son have to be so attractive. Oh there's Draco, we need to go meet my mum at the robe shop so we can get school clothes.

"Ainslynn, I saw you looking at one of the Weasley twins. You know what they are like and even though they are Pure, and on the Sacred 28, that doesn't mean you can go off with them. Okay?" My mum was saying to me. I reply "Yeah mum, I won't." Ugh I just got caught. Draco and I are standing on the podium where the witch is getting our measurements for robes, when a skinny black hair green eyed boy walked in. He goes right next to Draco and I already know that things aren't going to go well.

Draco's POV

Ainslynn and I are standing getting our robes when a skinny messy black haired boy with green eyes comes walking in. I start a conversation with him. "Hello," I said, "Hogwarts, too?" "Yes," said the boy. "Play Quidditch at all?" "No," the boy said again, "I do, know what house you'll be in yet?" "No," said the boy feeling more stupid by the minute. "Well, no one really knows until they get there, do they, but I know I'll be in Slytherin, all our family have been -- imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" "Mmm," said the boy. I end the conversation because he knows nothing, must be a Muggle-Born. Ainslynn and I finish getting our robes then wander around getting the rest of our stuff. Since Mrs. Jackson already got our books, we need to get a cauldron pewter, standard size 2, glass or crystal phials, telescope set, and brass scales.

Who knew one would need so much to start at Hogwarts. Once we finish all the shopping we take Floo Powder back to the Jackson's and have some dinner. We leave for Hogwarts in just one week. I walk around the house to hear crying, not just any crying, but Ainslynn. When I walk into her room she is laying face down on her bed with her face in a pillow, I sit on her bed and wrap my arms around her and ask, "What's wrong Ains?" She looks up and replies, "I don't think I'm ready for Hogwarts yet. You're the only friend I have and I'm worried I am going to lose you to some blokes who are going to change you. There are a lot of people at school and I just don't want you to forget about me Draco." Oh my, she really thinks she is going to lose me. "Ains, you are never going to lose me, we come as a pair and we will be at each others side the whole time. I sure hope we are in the same house." I reply to try to make her feel better. "I think I'm going to be in Slytherin like mum and dad were. There is no way I'd be in Ravenclaw, they are so smart, Hufflepuff would be a disgrace to the family, and Gryffindor I think I would get disowned." She says regarding houses. "I know we will be in Slytherin together, I know for a fact." I say. I look at the time and it is one in the morning, I see Ainslynn is asleep so I creep down the stairs into my room and fall into a deep sleep.

Ainslynn's POV

When I wake up I run into the bathroom to take a shower because I had been crying all night, but if it weren't for Draco I would probably still be crying. He is such a sweet boy and I never want to lose him. While I'm in the hot steamy shower I begin to think about Hogwarts and how it will be going to school with hundreds of other kids. Will I be friends with people from other houses? Will I meet the Weasley boy who I saw at Diagon Alley? Will Draco and I finally get together? With all the thoughts running through my head I almost forget to wrap my towel around my body before I go out of the bathroom. "Draco, please get out of my room so I can get dressed." I ask nicely so I'm not stuck in a towel. 'Okay, I'm going to hop in now. I'll come in when I'm all done." He says. Well, since we leave for Hogwarts in six days I may as well pack my trunk and make sure I have everything. Once I get everything back in my trunk Draco comes in wearing his pajama pants and questions why all my school stuff is already packed away. "Well, I've read all the books and have most of them memorized, I don't need my robes until we are on the train, and I don't need quills, ink, or parchment until the first day of classes. Also I was bored waiting for you so this seemed like the perfect time to do all of it." I said. He just looks at me and smiles.
