Chapter 2

After a warm and nice shower, I went back to my room. I opened my suitcase and heard the door opening. All my roommates were coming in with a huge smile on their faces. "What?" I said smiling too. "We have five tickets for a TPR concert" I immediately opened my mouth surprised as hell. "Would you like to come with us?" I jumped up and quickly run to the girls and hugged them. I was almost crying. I looked at Carolyn and said "But.. why me?" she smiled and said "Just a welcome for you in our school". I was happier then ever. I was going to see my biggest idol! They told me that we were going within a week at eight p.m.The day of the consert was a friday. In this school the students were free to go wherever they wanted in the weekend but they had be in the school's territory again every Sunday morning.

It passed a week in which I had the opportunity to learn more about Alex and the girls.
We quickly became friends. Alex and I started to be friends. We started to talk and eat lunch together, but I had feeling I had some strongly feelings about Alex.

*the day before the concert*

After they explained me all the plans for tomorrow night they walked away but Alex stayed there looking at me. I blushed a little then asked her "Do you like The Pretty Reckless?" she smiled with a indifferent expression on her face and answered "Yep... they're quite awesome... and Taylor Momsen is hot so... Yes." I laughed a little and said "Yeah... she really is." We stayed for a couple of minutes there looking to each other then she broke the silence "Wanna go eat something?" I smiled saying "Yeah sure". We started walking to the Dining Hall and talking about what we'd been doing at the concert. We took a snack and sat on a bench. I had butterflies in my stomach every time I looked to her so I was looking at the ground now, while eating my snack. When I finally looked at her I found out that she was staring at me. Goddamn she had beautiful eyes. They were so big I was losing in them. We looked in each other eyes for a couple of minutes. I saw that she was coming nearer and I immediately looked away from her eyes "So..." she looked away.
"Do you want to go watch a movie?" She looked at me surprised "Emm..I don't know..it depends when? I sighed "Emm.. Sunday maybe? I think is an occasion of having fun..." She continued to look at the ground smiling a little. I was confused. Why was she so sad? I mean she didn't looked very sad but a little bored. I didn't know what to say when she started to talk "Ok... sorry but I forgot that I have to go study in the library, I have a history exam monday ...maybe we'll watch that movie another time... see ya" and she slowly disappeared smirking. Why was she smirking? What was she thinking? Whatev.."Hey Taylor!" I heard Carolyn shouting from my back. "Hey Carolyn" I said still thinking to Alex... "Why are you so sad?" We're going to see TPR tomorrow!" She said pushing me "I'm not sad!" I lied "I'm just tired" "Tired? In the first day of school? You're gonna die here." she pushed me again. I laughed a little.


The next morning I woke up with a huge smile. I was the first who was awake so I decided to read a book.
Two minutes later Alex woke up. I looked at her and blushed a little. I couldn't believe that She was one of my roommates. She ran in my bed and asked me hardly trying to open her eyes " 'morning.. What are you reading?" I smiled at her saying "Oh..em nothing just a book that I.." She took it from my hand and I stretched my hand trying to take the book from hers.We both laughed and I continued to stretch my arm on her. We went closer and between our faces were just a couple of inches.
We stopped "fighting" and without we even knew we were blushing and looking deeply into each other's eyes. She looked in my eyes then at my mouth an then again in my eyes and again at my mouth. I did the same. I had butterflies in my stomach.. She smelled like vanilla candies and smoke. Suddenly I found out that our mouths were almost touching but before they could we heard Jesse clearing her throat as she started to couch and she woke up. Before she could see anything Alex were already in her bed looking at her fingers. What the fuck?! Really? The fingers? Anyway. Jesse were awake so we all started to talk until the beforelesson alarm started ringing. Then the others woke up. Alex and I were blushing all the time but strangely no one asked nothing. But the most important question was 'why did I feel butterflies for a girl?'.

We went to our classrooms and started the school.

The lunch bell rang and we went to the Dining Hall and ate something. I took an hamburger and some salad. The food looked awesome but the taste was pretty disgusting. I didn't want to see Alex again after what almost happened in the room so I went to the bathroom and ate my lunch there. I went out from the bathroom and went in my class again. I didn't saw the girls at all.

The school finished and I knew that the girls were looking for me so I decided to go to our room. When I opened the door all the girls were in but not Alex. "Where is Alex?" I asked interested. "Oh! Hey Taylor, she was just looking for you but I guess she is behind the school smoking a cigarette. She always does that. In any moment you can't find her, she will be there." She laughed a little and I smiled looking at the ground. "Ok... Well I will go for a walk." You certainly know where I was going to go indeed. I turned around closing the door behind me. I heard the girls talking again.
I turned the corner of the back of the school. Yes she was there. I came near to her holding a cigarette in one of my hands. I sat down near to her and asked her "You have a lighter please?" She gave it to me without eye contact. I lighted my cigarette and started smoking. We stayed like that for about five minutes, still without eye contact. "Sso..." I said looking at her. She gave me the 'whatthehellIwasthinkingaboutthingsocalmlywhydidyouinterruptedme look' I looked away and waited for an idea of question but nothing came in my mind. Before I could start to speak again I looked at her and our eyes met . She had bright eyes. She bit her lip and her hands were now fists. I raised an eyebrow looking to her. I slowly looked to her body.She.Was.Incredibly.Sexy. "Soo." She said smirking pretending that it was an answer. After a few second I looked back to her eyes. I didn't even saw that we were so close. I could feel her breath on me. I thought I was dreaming but no, I could smell candies and smoke on her. We became nearer and slightly tilted our heads and we were about to close our eyes when.. my phone rang. I grabbed it out without even looking at the ID of the caller. I was just looking at her beautiful grey eyes but they were already looking away. "Hello sweetheart!" It was my mum. "Hi, mum" I answered still staring at Alex. She was looking at the ground with a tired expression. "Look, I've called to say to you that you have to go to your locket. You'll find a pack in it." Today was my birthday. The girls still didn't knew. I looked to Alex again saying "Ok thanks mum, I love you." "Happy Birthday darling, Bye." She broke the conversation. I putted my phone back in the small pocket of my skirt. Alex was looking sad, because of what just DIDN'T happened thought.
"Sorry I have to go.." I said staying there for a few seconds and then quickly peeked her cheek. I started to run to the school without looking back but I almost heard her blushing. I continued to walk smiling. I was convinced I liked her. I didn't want to know why and how. Of course it was a little weird for me but I was happy I was feeling something I didn't felt for so much time. I was happy to like someone and I didn't care that she was a girl. Now the problem was 'does she like me as I do?'.
