Sometimes it's better to do things on your own. "the figure" is not something I made up. It's who or what ever you want to be. The unsteady rock barely stays beneath my feet
I look around and try to find someone to help me
I see a figure amoungst the misty haze
Hiding within it's internal delays
Do i go
Do i stay
Or do i watch my only chance walk away
More clouds start to close in
Shadowing my path before i begin
I feel the figure watching me still
beckoning me to find my will
The will to continue to keep going
even when the road seems unknowing
I frown, everything seems so distant
but I remind myself, I don't need an assistant
I look again and see no one here
the watching figure just dissapeared
But the road starts to harden getting stronger
My path clearing, I'm lost no longer.
