Claire's POV
I'm driving to Hollywood for the biggest moment of Riley McDonough's life. He has a concert and I have a backstage pass. The self-righteous "pretty boy" is going to meet the girl of his dreams tomorrow night. Most boys would kill for the chance to be with me. I would kill for the chance to be famous. I am an aspiring runway and print-work model. I'm tall, blonde, sexy, and I have big boobs, so I definitely look the part. And I'm way smarter than I look, devious even. My real name is Lila Parks and I'm from Wisconsin, but no models ever come from Wisconsin. I'm changing my name to Claire Matthews and I'm from New York. I'm about to make a name for myself in Hollywood, a name no one will ever forget.
Riley's POV
"I'm so excited for our concert tomorrow!" I say to Toby, my younger brother. "I'm sort of nervous," he replies. He's only 14 so he hasn't really gotten used to being onstage yet. "Get over it Toby! You've performed in front of people lots of times!" My older brother Connor nags. The part I'm most worried about meeting the fans who have backstage passes. What if they don't like me and start telling everyone that I'm a stuck-up jerk? I just have to be myself, right? Isn't that what they tell you in kindergarten and just about every other grade? Apparently that's the way to make friends. I guess I'll find out if those annoying teachers were right. I sure hope they were.
A/N This was just an introduction to my story, "Gold Digger." Nothing happened in this chapter, it was just letting you get to know Claire and Riley. Thanks!
