Alexa's POV:

Hello, my name is Alexa Rose Stafford but you can call me Alexa, Lexie, or Lexa. I live in Miami, Florida. You might think I am an ordinary 15 year old girl, but no, I'm not. I cannot see any colors. All I can see is black and white.

And because of that, I get bullied in school, a lot. I cry myself to sleep every night. Oh, and I also cut. I just don't wanna live anymore.

Anyways, I still have to go to school today. So I went in the bathroom to shower. After showering, I wore my clothes and ran downstairs to eat my breakfast.

"Good morning mom, good morning dad." I said as I sat down and ate my breakfast.

"Good morning, darling." Dad smiled at me.

"Good morning, Lexa. So, how was your sleep?" Mom asked me.

"Oh, it was g-good." I lied. I actually dreamt of people screaming things at me like loser and kys. So no, I didn't actually sleep well.

~ time skip after eating ~

"Bye, Alexa. Have a good day at school!" Mom and dad kissed me goodbye.

"Good bye mom, good bye dad." I waved.

Right when I exited my house, I saw three people walking towards me. Oh no, it's Loren, Ariel, and Arii. They bully me every single day. I tried running away from them but I was too late. They saw me. (A/N: Guys I don't hate them ok. I love them vv much I swear.)

"Hey guys look, it's Alexa." Arii pointed at me and laughed at me.

"Well well well, look who we have here." Loren gave me a 'we're gonna kick your ass' look.

"Just leave me alone." I tried to leave but Ariel grabbed my shoulder.

"Leaving so soon, little blind girl?" Ariel said.

Loren lifted her fist and tried to punch me. But then, I heard someone running towards us.

"Loren! Ariel! Arii! Leave Lexie alone!" Weston, my only best friend, yelled.

"Geez. Fine then Weston. We don't want her anyway." Arii rolled her eyes. They walked away, laughing.

"Lexie, are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I th-think I'm fine. Th-thanks Weston." I stuttered.

"No problem. I'll always be here, okay?" He said. I nodded and smiled.

Then we started walking to school. What a way to start the day.
