Chapter song: Spaceship by Daughtry
Chapter 3- 1 Week Later
I woke up an entire week later feeling like I had been hit by an avalanche of a shitload of bricks.
For the past week, Percy and I have worked on training. And when I wasn't training with Percy or sleeping, I was practicing magic with Deimos.
So the last time that I got more than four hours of sleep was a week ago, when I was still at Hogwarts.
I got up, took yet another cold shower, and got dressed for meeting with Deimos for magic lessons.
I was wearing a very short pair of black cut off shorts, a silver t-shirt, and a pair of black converse.
It was the middle of April, and it was a terrible time of 100 degree weather for some odd reason.
I dragged myself to Deimos's building, using my magic to make myself have no bags under my eyes, and to make the bloodshotness go away.
Deimos grinned at me once I walked through the door, and I immediately figured out that he had something big planned for today.
"Today, we are going to test your seeing abilities." Deimos chirped.
One thing that I had learned about Deimos was that he wasn't such a terrible person once you really got to know him.
Another thing was that he was a morning person all the way. He acted as though he drank eight red bulls before I got there.
"Pardon?" I asked him.
Did he say 'seeing abilities'? What the hell is that supposed to mean? I'm pretty sure I have 20/20 vision....
"We're going to see if you can look into the future. Or the past, whichever is more convenient." Deimos grinned.
I sighed and he started striding towards me with a big grin on his face. This guy seriously needs to take decaf or something.
"Okay, close your eyes and just try and feel energy coursing through you. Try imagining or thinking something that you want to see, whether it be past of present. Also, try to let me see what you see." Deimos said.
I closed my eyes and did as he asked. When I had thought that it had worked, I opened my eyes and I shrieked when I couldn't see anything.
The darkness went away, but I wasn't in Deimos's building anymore, I was in a place filled with darkness and what looked like lava.
Intuition told me that it was Tartarus. Just as that thought crossed my mind, I could see two giants in the distance, carrying a big bronze jar with something in it.
Then, Tartarus disappeared and I saw some sort of Roman coliseum. Up in the stands, there was the giant glass jar with a guy inside of it.
He was sitting cross-legged with pomegranate seeds around him. He kind of looked like he was meditating.
He was a handsome guy, but he looked like he was on the verge of death and he seemed like he wasn't breathing.
He disappeared along with the coliseum, and suddenly, I was back in Deimos's building. Deimos looked as shocked as I felt, and I just knew that he had seen the same thing that I had seen.
"Did you just see that?" I whispered.
Deimos nodded, dumbstruck. My head felt like someone was crushing my skull with a blunt object. It felt painful.
