Chapter 12

I curled in a ball, crying my eyes out because I thought I couldn't see Niall again. I heard Tony softly snoring and breathing, which calmed me down a bit.

I fell asleep, not knowing someone else was in my room. I didn't hear my phone go off. I just cried because I missed Niall, because I loved him!

I felt like my heart was being pulled from my chest. I sniffled and whine. Suddenly I felt his arms around me. I still cry.

"Don't cry love," Niall says.

I roll over and cry into his shirt. He rubbed my back. I didn't ask him how he got back into the house, but I didn't really care. Niall held me and hummed softly.

"Please don't cry," he says, kissing my forehead.

I nod, looking into his bright eyes. He kissed my nose, then the two of us had a bit more of some protected fun. I smiled softly after that, tired and shivering.

"I love you River," Niall says.

I smiled and blushed softly, feeling Niall's eyes on my bare body. I knew he saw the scars I received from Xander and I knew he saw my self harm scars.

I felt Niall pull my cover over both of us. I blinked softly.

"Tony's with Ashton. I texted him and asked him to watch him for a while," Niall says, knowing I was gonna ask him where Tony was.

I nodded, tired. I drift off in Niall's arms, sleeping well for the first time since I had Tony.

~Time Skip~

I woke up to Niall dressed and holding Tony in his arms. Niall was humming softly and I smiled softly as I stretched. While Niall's back was turned to me I got dressed.

"Morning, Love," Niall says.

"Morning, NiNi," I say.

I hear Tony squeak softly, then I see him make grabby hands . Niall hands him to me and Tony settles down.

I sit down on my bed, holding the five month old in my arms. Niall sits behind me, arms around my waist. He rests his chin on my right shoulder and watches Tony.

Luke and Ashton will want full custody later, but Ashton will let me still see Tony because they'll need me to care for him while they're on tour... Aw fuck, this is a lose-win situation.
