Chapter 1

Emily's P.O.V

*_A Week Later_*

Elijah was putting the suitcases in the trunk of the car. I put Aria in her carseat and then got in the passengers in front of her. Elijah got into the divers sit. Caroline, Damon, and Stefan didn't want to come, but they did want us to call everyday. Elijah pulled onto the highway and I saw Aria on my iPad watching something. Elijah took a hold of my hand and I looked up at him.

"Are you sure?" Elijah said and I nodded.

"Yea, plus I want to see my best friend and you need to see your brother." Elijah nodded. "Shouldn't we tell Rebekah?" I asked him.

"I left her a voicemail." Elijah said and my phone started to buzz. "Who's that?" Elijah asked me.

"Probably Klaus, I forgot to save his number into my phone." I said and answered the phone.

Emily: Hello?

?: Hello Emily

Emily: Marcel?

Marcel: Yup, Klaus told me you were coming down to visit.

Emily: H-how are you alive?

Marcel: Long story and I'll explain when you get here.

Emily: Ok, oh my god, I'm so happy you're alive.

Marcel: Hey me too. So how far away are you?

Emily: Dude we will be there for Mardi Gras, chill ok?

Marcel: I know, I know, but still how far away are you?

Emily: Were coming from New York City. We'll be there by nightfall or tomorrow.

Marcel: Ok, ok, I heard you have a daughter?

Emily: Yea, yea I do and she looks a lot like Nik.

Marcel: *hears someone else laugh beside Marcel* Well, that's weird.

Emily: Yea, is Klaus listening in on this?

Marcel: Yea, here let me put you on speaker.

Emily: We good cause you are also on speaker.

Klaus: Hello

Elijah: Hello Niklaus.

Klaus: Hello, brother

Emily: Ok, Klaus we will be there soon.

Klaus: Ok, dear goodbye

Emily: Goodbye Marcel, Klaus.

Marcel: Bye Emily.

I hung up after that and Elijah looked at me.

"Why did you do that?" Elijah asked me and I looked at him.

"Because I didn't want you to yelled at you brother over the phone with Aria in the car." I said and he stay silent.

(Later that night)

Marcel texted me the address of the compound and we walked in. Elijah was trying to wake up Aria because she fell asleep in the car an hour ago. I walked in the compound.

"Klaus! Marcel!" I yelled and I bumped into something, falling on the ground. I never hit the ground because someone grabbed my arm. I looked up and saw Klaus as he help me stand up. "Klaus..." I said and smiled.

"Hello love." Klaus said and I quickly wrapped my arms around him.

"I miss you." I said and he rubbed my back.

"I missed you too." He said and looked up. I pulled away and saw Elijah and Aria. Aria was hugging Elijah leg. I walked up to the and picked up Aria, then walked back over to Nik. I walked in front of him. He looked at Aria with awe.
