"I'll see you at the train station!"

First day of college! Yay! I wonder how will it go? I'm so lucky that I have a friend from my high school who will be my block mate  for the rest of college so I don't have to start from scratch.

I wonder how Glenn is doing since he haven't called or at least texted me after he came back from a vacation with his family in Japan. I know we haven't agreed to be boyfriend and boyfriend but at least that's how it looks like. I tried texting him but he doesn't reply. I know he's back because he promised he'll be back before school starts.

"Hey Ryan!", someone shouted from the ticket booth.

I saw Amber waving from the booth.

"Hi! So are you ready for first day?" I said.

"Of course! I'm thrilled to see our new block mates!"

"This will be hard because we have girl block mates..." I said sounding not so excited.

We came from an exclusive boys school or should I say gays school? Just kidding! Well that's how it looked like for me. That's where Glenn and I started, and a lot of my friends had boyfriends too before.

We finally arrived in our classroom. There was a group of girls waving at us, I guess they already knew we were gay so they called us. We approached them.

"Hi I'm Ryan you can call me Ian or just Ryan!" I said.

"I'm Amber! You don't want to know what's the real name behind it."

"I'm Anne, this is Marie, Riza, Niks, Sandy, and Eve." She pointed each girl.

"Well okay, nice meeting you girls..." I said unsurely because she was too fast I'm sure I didn't remember who's who.

"You can sit here!" She tapped the chair next to her.

The first Professor came in and I am pretty sure he's gay. He was thin and short and he is carrying nothing, I think first day will be easy.

"Good morning class! I am Prof. Cane and I am your English 1 Professor. I am sure some of you thought this day will be easy and light but I hate to send you the message, NO." He glared at me as soon as he finishes.

"Each one of you will introduce yourselves in front and will start with letter A." FML, I hate introducing myself in a big group! Can we just go around and introduce ourselves with each other? Why should we do it in front?!

"We'll start with you Mr. Amelion!"

I get to know some of my blockmates and some are pretty confident.

"Good one Ms. George! Next is Mr. Hart!"

I stood up and smiled. You can do this Ian, just don't say something unnecessary.

"Hello guys, I'm Luis Ryan B. Hart. I came from Mary High School. I like to play Volleyball and uhmmm..."

I looked at Amber and he was waving his hand as if he's telling 'go on, go on.'

"I like... eating?" and everyone giggled.

"I guess that's it?" I shrugged.

"So, what do you expect from this class?" Prof. Cane added.

WTF, he didn't asked that earlier.

"I expect it to be fun and educational and not boring like most of English classes back in high school." I smiled at Mr. Cane sarcastically.

"Okay Mr. Hart!"

On my way back to my chair beside Anne everyone was smiling back at me. Whew! I think I'm gonna make some friends here.

"Nice one Ian! I didn't knew you can make everyone laugh!" Anne said.

"Well, that's his talent!" Amber replied.

-

"So where are we going for lunch?" Amber butted in.

"There's a fast food outside. They also have cafeteria inside." Anne replied.

"Where do you want to eat Ian?" Amber asked.

"Do they have restaurants here? I think I'll take a break from fast food, I'm getting bigger."

"Oh! I know where we'll eat! Follow me!" Anne walked in front of us.

I checked my phone if Glenn replied. There's a message, but unfortunately not from Glenn. I opened my cousin's message.

"Here's Glenn's new number. His old number won't work when he got back. I think you need to text him, he's been here one week ago."

I hit reply button. "What?! He texted you first before me?! Tell him I won't ever talk to him again! He didn't texted me when he got back, did he forgot we had SOMETHING?!"

"Hey easy with the keypads! What's wrong?" Amber said.

"Nothing important." I said dryly.

"Is it about Glenn?"

"Yeah, he was already here one week ago and he didn't even informed me. I know we didn't called each other boyfriend but he told me we don't need titles as long as we love each other that's more than enough. And all of a sudden after that vacation he didn't cared about me anymore?! What the Fck!"

"Well I'm sure you guys will figure things out." Amber said tapping my back.

During lunch we saw our other block mates having their lunch there. They waved at us and pointed the table beside them, so we went inside. I saw Edward from the other side of the table. He's kinda cute and he's definitely my type. He said earlier during English class he was born in China and his family migrated here when he was still a baby.

"Hey Ian!" Edward said.

"Hi." I said shyly.

"Seat here!" he pointed at the vacant chair in front of him.

I wonder if he's into gays. Because he really looked straight for me. But I have to keep him at distance not until I figure things out with Glenn.

While we're eating he keeps on talking to me as if he's really comfortable with me being gay. Well, even if he's into gays I'm not putting my hopes high because I'm not that attractive. This is not usual for me because he is the first straight guy here in college that talked to me like we've known each other for a long time. He is my first guy friend in college, cool!

"Ian!" Amber shouted cutting off my conversation with Edward.

"What?" I said annoyingly.

Amber just smiled. I know what's in his head, he's probably teasing me inside his brain.

"Whatever Amber!" I shouted at him.

I looked back at Edward and he was smiling.

Ugh! What's with you Edward?! Why are you acting like this. I hate that contagious smile that makes me smile back for no reason! You're smiling as if you want to tell me something, something I want to hear! Argh!

"You know what Ian-"

"OKAY GUYS WE'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR THE NEXT CLASS!" Amber shouted cutting off Edward's words.

"Yes Edward? What was that?" I said back to Edward.

He gave me that smile again. "Later!"

Argh! Thanks to you Amber.
